Moonshell does not read on R4, suggestions?

Answer: Reformat your card. New R4 cards already have something else for the multimedia thing put on my the person you bought it from. Just reformat it and put everything back on and it should be fine.

 

It also says that on my DS... Although it says that, it goes to the blue Moonshel screen... Its like "cannot read Moonshell" but still goes onto the next screen lol.. is that suppose to happen?

 

Thats what I've been trying to figure out but it seems like its the norm with a lot of people. Moonshell still works fine but the error message is pretty annoying.

 

yep, true.. its annoying because i dont know when it actually may not work

 

has worked everytime still with me, never had a problem. I guess its just one line of bad code in the boot or something.

 

Its supposed to happen. I think its so that if it cant finish loading its got the error displayed already. Either way it happens all the time on mine

I think that everyone here gets that same error message

I've been getting that message since version 1.06, the firmware that came installed when I first got the R4 ^^

 

So if they make a new version, will that message stop bothering us?

 

The R4 team don't make Moonshell, some japanese programmer does. Can't remember his name though either way, thats how it works on whatever you use it on. its like the startup text you get when you turn your pc on

 

After a few weeks of usage, moonshell and r4 works. it's also nice to know that Im not the only one getting this msg... ;D i was the person who got into this hobby without any experience... so before playing any mp3's, i saw the error msg and thought i did something wrong.

Bro what are you doing with a 512 mb card.....at amazon you can buy a 2giger for about $15.

 

Does the r4 support the type of micro sd? ???

 

I myself have a 2GB Micro SD

 

It'll be cool if R4 will eventually have support for SDHC... If not I'll just get a CycloDS or something...

 

^ future firmware is said to eventually support SDHC.
