    'Pokémon Go' launches in Singapore but cheaters are ruining it for everyone

    Speaking in regarding to the above last article. I've been annoyed by cheaters as well from the start. Just 2 days from its first international release (while then it hasn't been released in my country), already gyms around my town were hijacked by trainers with level above 21 and pokemons with over 2000 CP, and make it more ridiculously obvious is the fact the pokemon they use are rare types. Some gyms even has its HP level above 8000, even found those above 14000. What makes it so ridiculously obvious is that to catch pokemon and visiting pokestops to gain points to level up through fair play by a single level is so damn difficult. But through spoofing, a player can level up so damn easily.

    E.g. I personally did a comparison test; what took me 2 weeks to reach lv. 5 by fairly playing from my mobile phone, takes mere 2 hours using an emu. Why it is possible is because, you can go to various pokestops with a push of a button, than when actually having to physically travel to those places. And you can find pokemon much easier that way too when you're not physically running around looking for them. That's so unfair, and I was personally annoyed as I couldn't find any fair match at any gym around my town. But I've no intention whatsoever to cheat and take down those cheaters from those gyms. I'll be just as low as they are if I do that.

    It's more than that. Your phone seems to only have 1GB ram and probably still running android v.4.3+. While this app requires min 2GB ram and above v.4.4 android.

    Pokemon games on android are protected against rooted phones. So you need to use root hiding app to trick the pokemon app to think the phone hasn't been rooted.

    Their move is very late and pointless by now. Many people have since lost interest in the app to bother playing further, especially after their mood to progress in the game honestly been badly hampered by cheaters. I say Niantic has lost their momentum due to their inability to foresee and iron out problems fast enough to prevent disappointment & especially the cheaters, despite their long experience with their older AR app - Ingress.

    Cheaters, be prepared to get permanent banned! Today Niantic just announced it is officially taking action. Although I think it should be most obvious to Niantic's system if someone has been using a modded apk where it enables the user to run around automatically using an on screen joystic , had leveled up very fast, and those jumping locations too often.

    Those getting soft banned will normally find themselves unable to catch pokemon or earn anything from pokestops for a short time while can still see pokemon spawning, which could be mere minutes to a few hours. Those getting permanent banned will find themselves with an empty pokedex, a bare map, and unable to sign in for good.

    Those of you who find yourself banned because of cheating, your only way out is to re-play using an unmodded apk with a different Google account. But if you've been permanent banned when you didn't cheat, you could try appealing via Niantic website. Although it is very unlikely you'll be unbanned immediately or even be.

    V.0.35.0 is out.
    Unmentioned in the changelog, updating the existing app will auto trigger a check. If it is installed onto an emulator, it will cause a loop of 'fail to authenticate' and can't sign in. Not sure if the same will happen when it finds a mobile phone has spoofing app installed alongside it. Regardless, cheaters beware!

    On a side story (not sure real or not);

    Players are taking to tweeter to boast about finding legendary pokemons, e.g. Charlizard, etc. Apparently in v.0.35.0, not only the pokemon spawning map been changed yet again to mess with 3rd party tracking app, it has also begin making legendary pokemon catch-able. On a side note, a hacker studying the app program strings, found that there's a likelihood the next update will include ability to trade between players. Also, next update will totally kill cheaters, spoofers, and whatever cheating bot available. Niantic is going to incorporate captcha to determine if the user is human or robot. So if you're a cheater, v.0.35.0 is your last chance to enjoy the game before letting go* of your pokemon. (*pun intended)
