I always text in proper English. None of my friends use any short form/internet acronyms when sending text messages so I always reply them in proper English language.
I text in proper English, grammar, capitalization, etc. But sometimes I need to span my message across two texts.
yeah i use proper English, especially now i have a qwerty key pad. i hate txt speak i don't understand any of it, it's just retarded
-on topic- Mobile phones to me are necessary because it helps me communicate with my peers and relatives who live so freaking far away from where I am now ;D -Useless if there's no signal :'(
We need help at the bank at 4th Avenue and Main Street, there is currently a bomb threat with two guys taking hostages! vs. pos bombs, hostages at 4th n main I wonder what people will be able to type during a bank robbery.
Or... Dial 911. "We need help at the bank at 4th Avenue and Main Street, there is currently a bomb threat with two guys taking hostages!" I think that's a situation where people are more likely to use their voices. Can you text 911?
Reminds me of one day at high school; we were not allowed phones in school at that age (only allowed them at evenings and weekends, the rest of the time they were kept in the carestaff office). One of the guys in my year was trying to persuade the head of house to let us have our phones during the day, since suspicious characters had been spotted in the school grounds and a house meeting had been called to basically warn us to stay inside where possible and keep our distance from strangers. Hamish suggested to the head of house that we could have our phones and text for help if we got attacked/abducted, so she sarcasticly asked if he was planning to ask the abductor to give him 5 minutes to text for help. The reply was an emphatic 'exactly'
As far as bank robberies go, there is a silent alarm either behind the desk, or one that you step on. I stepped on one while cleaning out a Chemical Manufacturing office. Similar setup.
I only use mobile phones for contacting someone and emergency purposes. Every other application is useless to me.
i have 2 phones which i barely use 1 is destroyed and the another has a problem called financial problem i dont have much budget to load for it
I rarely use my phone for calls, but since I've an Internet browser on it, it became pretty important to me.
Can't believe people are really this pissed off with cells, I believe them heavenly, can't imagine a day without them just have to many calls to evade.. Niko Bellic as well benifited from his Whiz cellphone. ;D
It depends As long as you don't excessively use it and you use it for the right reasons, then it is okay. If you just text 24/7 then it is a problem.
If the phone has a memory card slot (for meboy & music) then i dont care what it is or does! as for the electromagnet problem you can get these tiny plastic things that contain special crystals that nulls the effects. there is only ONE place I know that sells the real thing.
