[Mobile] Atelier Online

Not many probably have heard, but there is a new Atelier Series game coming our way on the mobile platform iOS and Android. It's the 2nd after Atelier Quest Board (if we don't include those side games made for Vodafone and local Japanese mobile service providers), which unfortunately hasn't been released internationally. Not sure if this new title will be made available world wide or exclusive for Japanese market only. The release news been around since Jun 2017, and it's due by end of this month or as late as early next month. There's however no exact date, except it's due by winter.

This new title Atelier Online : Alchemist of the Brasier (アトリエ オンライン ～ブレセイルの錬金術士～ / Atorie Onrain ~Bureseiru no Renkinjutsushi~) will be an open world RPG, which is free to play with in-game micro transaction. Players can play solo or in a team. And there'll seems to be a time of day cycle which likely will have certain effect in-game. Of cause there'll be synthesising ingredients/items collected from nature and from battling.

Game release been delayed to an unknown date for this year (2018). Reason was cited as adding more content.
I personally just hope it'd be released internationally and not limited to Japan region like that Atelier Board Quest.
Which sucks as till now there's still no English version of it.

Close beta testing scheduled to begin this July! 3000 participants @ 1500 from Android and iOS users may now apply through the official website.

Compatible devices for this app;
- min Android v.6.0 with 2GB RAM
- min iOS9 with 2GB RAM (iPhone 6S or newer)

Seems like they'll make an official announcement of when this game will likely be released during the 'Tokyo Game Show 2018', which will be held on 22 Sept 2018 around 12:30-13:30 at Koei Tecmo's booth. Also the number of pre-registered have topped 500K, where they'll receive Rorona themed & Fairy themed items. They're still open to more pre-register participants, if top the next benchmarks, the rewards are gacha tickets.

 

Not true, it went live in Oct. 2018 only in Japan. Not sure if there'll ever be any plan to release world wide.
