I disagree.

Some are counted as viruses because of "crack" software, they come up as viruses because anti virus systems aren't used to them.


If you get stuff from the ligit dumpers (friend showed me who to look for) you'd get great stuff virus free.

 

But P2P in general is more dangerous than just downloading it off Romulation for example

 

That's why

-You have a good anti virus
-You know if there is key gen or cracks along with the file-these are considered safe
-Choose a good uploader to download from


Some of the torrents have the name of the uploader listed, I forgot the name of a really good one, but he always has his name in a perticular name (and the way it's on screen-many fake user's might use his name to give you viruses and just muck you about), and has ALOT of comments posted on various torrent sites thanking him.

 

I totally agre with you.Ive been downloading torrents for 5 years now,and experiance has taught me a lot of stuff.
You just get a 6th sense with torrents,coz i no where to look,how to look,i can spot a dodgy torrents a mile off,and fake ones.

And LOADS of people who think torrents are infected are wrong,most of the time its keygens and false negatives.

And damm right you need good anti virus(i use avast pro+threatfire) with plenty of malware,spyware software.

So yeah experiance has a lot to do with torrents,you just need to know you stuff

You may be on about axxo, he is a very good uploader of movies.

To be honest I gave up on torrents a while ago, rapidshare is what I use now.

Yes but word is he's stopped, fxm is still good though it's easier to fake an fxm torrent, I've been using Hexagon there's a good uploader there called secretmyth.

Well they have always pretended to be legit lol. Guess someone saw right through that.

 

It was the most friendly, politicaly correct torrent site. They even filtered curse words.

Alas, because of this the South Park episodes download site I frequent, mrtwig'snet has also been affected as it hosts the episode downloads at mininova
