Yeah, this is true for too many things. Walmart, Facebook, etc. If you support companies you are promoting their behavior and causing harm to ethical competitors. I'm not saying every one who uses those things are evil, but if you do, don't bitch about their practices because you are absolutely responsible for them.
Yes and no. I love Battlefield 3, but EA loves to fuck it up with their rivalry with Activision. I loathe the fact that they want to introduce Battlefield Premium (I won't buy it, so no, I'm not responsible for that), just so they can make more money. It seems that game publishers don't care about the game or its fanbase, they only care about money. It's so ridiculous. And this rivalry between EA and Activision is just childish and it makes me angry.
It's not childish, it's business. EA want money. Activision want money. They both sell the same product to the same group of people. Obviously there's going to be a very heated rivalry
As silly as it sounds when the subject at hand is video games, the biggest influence you will make on the world will be in the products you buy. Your political votes don't really mean shit unless you're the tipping point. This tipping point exists here too: EA and Activision will only squeeze their consumers as much as their consumers let them before their retaliation becomes unprofitable, but every cent you spend directly influences the balance of competition ever so slightly. In supporting one company, you are consequentially hurting their competition also, so, like, vote with your dollars and pounds and euros and yen and pesos and whatever else cause it's really the only political voice you have.
Nah man, CoD is fast paced, close quarter battles on small maps while Battlefield is more tactical and it involves more teamplay on bigger maps.EA just wants to be like Activision, because of the money, which slowly ruins Battlefield's originality.
If people are willing to pay for 'private servers', shortcuts and premium accounts then you can't really blame EA/Activision for supplying them, it makes good business sense. It's also pretty stupid for criticizing a company for wanting to make money, unless you have any ideas on economic system reform you want to share?
Yeah see that's a strawman. When you get functionality that's been in prior games re: dedicated servers and the ability to host private games, then it gets taken away and sold for cost, that's not okay. So yeah, we can blame a company that does that. I don't disagree about the latter two. I don't personally agree with it, but plenty of people are voting with their wallets so what the fuck ever
I really despise my mannerism when talking. Both in person and in phone conversation. I hate it with the involuntary hand movements.
So at first people would get pissed at me for typn lik dis on facebook. Now they get pissed at me for typing with perfect grammar and punctuation (although the punctuation is mostly iPhone autocorrect) ... SMH
Why can't Republican write? If I see any political debate on the Internet, Republicans come off as total rednecks to me because I am literate. Even when they make decent points, I just cry because they can barely fucking express themselves. I'm sure there are literate Republicans somewhere in the world. We've just yet to cross paths. Or maybe you just lose your English skills after you trade your soul to Satan.
I hate how my girlfriend snores. Like, I'm lying in bed now and she's snoring away. Not easy sleeping conditions, especially since it's only half eleven and i've been awake for less than 12 hours. RELATIONSHIPS ARE HARD, GUYS
