Have heard alot about MGS4, but never played. Seems okay though. Got GTAIV myself on the 360. As how easlily entertained I am, I find it amusing simply driving around in the city causing mayhem. Good game but you can grow bored with it if you run out of stuff to do. Warhawk, all I know about it is that it's a PS3 game. Can't say much 'bout it.
Why would GTA be offensive? I mean, you have a Call Of Duty avatar. Concerning Metal Gear Solid 4, you don't need to play the games in the series before it, even for the story line. MGS4 has a lot of cutscenes that go over the events of MGS, MGS2 and MGS3. That's if you only watch the cut scenes and pay attention to the story (which, the story is AWESOME, script could use some work though). Even then MGS4 is a great game to play, it's a Stealth game where you don't have to be stealthy, which is probably the best part. I've played Splinter Cell Chaos Theory and if you do anything but stealth, you have a high probability of dying. For the people who don't know what Warhawk is, it's a multiplayer only reboot of Warhawk that originally came out for the PSX. It kinda like a third person Battlefield game with interesting jets. I recommend MGS4. It's a fun game, has replay value, kick ass story and great graphics.
There's offensive language in CoD, sexual references don't matter as everyone's going to have sex at one point in their lives, well the story of GTAIV is that Niko joins gangs to better his situation, he usually has to kill rival gang members to do this, it's not too different from CoD where you're killing rival factions. Your character doesn't have do drugs. Although what does my arguing matter? I've argued with this with you before and it's like arguing to a brick wall so eh.
Of course we are all going to have sex at some point in our lives but the messages that they pass across are ver negative. And I do see what you mean in terms of swearing and violence
Are you offended? I doubt anyone besides the religious fanatics really care. The sex and violence serve purpose to guide the story. If that's the case and it's not just _there_ (like the hot coffee thing in SA), then it shouldn't be offensive.
