huffington post are massaging the truth a bit there. the terms and conditions of the reward program stated that if any of your uploads were found to be infringing of copyrights you wouldn't get paid.

Most people are getting really hysteric about this. File Hosting server/site down? Get to another one. All your stuff online? Why the hell did you do that? This is why I don't upload personal or work-related stuff online. Yes, I agree, it's going too far, but it's just a File/Video/Porn hosting site.
1. This is a two year old case, it is completly unrelated to SOPA. If anything it shows that SOPA is uneeded and that current legislation is capable of dealing with online piracy. 2. Communism? Might want to go read a dictionary. 3. Overreact much? I'm pretty sure the 4% will just go it elsewhere - be it rapidshare, mediafire or one of the dozen of other similar sites.
