the meaning of life is simple as with all animals and organisms. we try to spin are social context on it but our lives are basically to reproduce.
i will show how even with social context are life is based around reproduction.
obviously there is exception to people I'm just putting across a theory here so don't reply with any stupid replies
and i have completely owned someone before in a debate spouting about the meaning of life creation and existence, i left he speachless and this guy had not shut up all night and he replied "i can't argue with that"
here i go

the meaning of life is to reproduce as with all living things it is just the road we take to keeping our species in existence.
even when you try to pull in social context and say "no we think and we change the world around us"
i still stand by my judge meant and only make it stronger
simply put without going in to detail and the order does varies but all in all its the same

we go to school to be educated
we get educated to to get a job
we get a job to get money
we get money to buy food to survive (hunting and gathering)
we socialise to get a partner
with that partner you find a place to live
we get housing as a space to raise a family
we reproduce
we raise that family send them to school and teach them about the world so they can go and do it all over again

that is the meaning of life!!!!!

 

What I think about meaning of life?
One word, no. There is no meaning for life, everything ends after all.
Or then I just haven't found it out yet.

Or if I'm just too self-destructive or something.

ah, these are the reasons why one should select a religion
all of you are wondering "whats after death?" "what do we live for?"
the answer, my friends, is religion.
as i was saying in another thread it gives you a goal and purpose for life.
i am catholic and my goal in life is to achieve my dream job(no need to say what it is)
i pray for the safety of my family i pray for the whole world i pray for the sinners and those who havent grasped the word of god yet(i pray a lot. twice a day.)
but there is one thing that has bothered me about my religion.
the dinosaurs. but i still remain devoted and faithful to my religion. every religion has its contradictions. the only thing to do is BELIEVE in your religion and find out what there is at the end(death obviously).
so my friends, my advice is simple: get a religion.
and also please do not disgrace anything related to religions
