How do you patch the rom with the patch?

Looked through all the posts can anyone help I have a NDS Linker is there a patch or firmware upgrade for this to make the game work

Make sure your rom names end with .nds

Be sure the dot is there

Any reason as to why the EDGE tutorial is still up? It doesn't actually work on EDGE cards. Has anyone found a way to play?

It's really fast during the battles though.

 

I tried the guide for EDGE itsmyswagg posted,but I still can't use it.
I tried to use the downloadable cheat,i tried the r4cce cheat. But no result.
Why won't it work?? Is it maybe I placed it in the wrong folder??

 

Try using no$zoomer by pressing the + button

The emulator will work better with some games but not all games

 

I am using the edge card. I was able to get past the save bug with the cheat patch. But once your into the game, after your first fight together with Luigi the game black screens and freezes.

Have tried pre-patching and using the cheat. No go. If anyone has more info on using the edge card I would love the info. My wife really wants to play this.

Modify: I have updated to 1.50 and now it will load and its good until you turn the game off. When you go to start the game it freezes up at the select save file screen. At this point you have to copy the save file to a computer, delete the save file on the edge card and then copy it from desktop to edge card. Why this seems to help, why this seems to help I have no idea but it will then boot up from the save file.

 

The fix also doesnt work with my egde card and i have been wanting to play this game for a while now. Is There some kind of new fix?

You are lucky... My DSi blocks the card... Anyway, There's no fix for that old card.

Mate, doesn't help.

 

spent hours searching for the fix for this game, and i finally found it on a youtube video funnily enough, its as simple as googling a fix caled ' YSmenu ' download this, and extract... open up the first folder and copy and paste EVERYTHING from there, into your nintendo ds SD flash card. Load up your DS as normal, scroll down to YSmenu and open it, it will bring up another design of menu, from here, find your Mario and Luigi Bowsers Inside Story Rom and open it ( the rom must be unpatched for it to load ) and voilah, works perfect. Hope you all enjoy playing!

ive got it working, went to dodgy shop and brought the first ever original r4 and it works, only problem is game isnt what expected,,, its pooooo. nothing like the super mario bros. sooo gutted.

 

I can not see it working with kernal v1.18, what firmware is it using?

 

anyone does it work for r4i pocket version?
