i found that the rom i was using wasnt clean got it working with a clean one thanks for the reply

But, from the looks of things, I think you already did it correctly because you managed to run R4.bat and make the R4_custom_English zip file. Extract the contents of the R4_custom_English zip file onto your MicroSD card. It should have a "TTMenu" folder and a single .DAT file if you chose 1 in step 4 (which I recommend). This folder and file should be the ONLY thing on your MicroSD card (besides your games of course).

Lastly, as for your question on R4config.bat, that just sets up the choices in step 4 ahead of time so that when your run R4.bat, it'll make the R4_custom_English zip file automatically. If you run R4.bat without running R4config.bat, it won't make it automatically, but will ask you the same choices/questions. Hope this helped!

Hey, just making sure.
So the only thing in the R4 should be TTmenufolder and games folder? Cause i don't wanna end up messing up my R4. If you don't mind, can you tell me which ones to keep and delete/store? Thanks alot peppero

Games (definitely need this)
Moonshell ( I think this is what the R4 runs on)
Songs (for the ingame ipod)

Mmm... The only thing that should be in your R4 to have a working homebrew/rom loader is the TTMenu folder AND _DS_MENU.DAT (I think that's what it is, currently don't have my R4 with me) from the R4_custom_English.zip folder that was made using R4.bat.

As for all the other stuff you listed, ignore them. But you can make and put folders in the root of your Micro SD if you want. Example: I made a folder called "Music" to put my MP3's in and a "Games" folder like you to put my roms in.

Just a note: YsMenu will replace Moonshell, so basically it's just a differnt homebrew/rom loader. YsMenu definitely does not look as pretty as Moonshell. I don't know if that matters to you.

I can confirm this works on my DSTT. I have made it to the part where you get hammers (about 45 minutes in-game!)
I haven't encountered any problems yet. I have reset, and tried selecting Save and Quit and my file was still there and I was able to continue. Leveled up, got a 1, but it still worked wonders! The game's been running great so far!!

Will post if I encounter anything odd.

Hello, i got the NO$GBA emulator and im trying to get the Mario & luigi bowsers inside story (U) to work.
I have downloaded the rom from the download section. When i start up the emulator and load up the game, I can select the Start Game option. After that it goes to the New file screen, at that point the game stops working. I can press many buttons, but it doesnt change anything, i tried resetting the emulator and also tried changing the controls, but, it kept on stopping doing anything. So im stuck at the New File screen.
I dont know if it is a piracy protection, but i think it is.
The patches in the topic post are not for the NO$GBA emulator so i cant do anything to make it work.
Does anyone have a good solution for this? The NO$GBA emulator works okay with Pokemon Ranger, Pokemon Platinum. But fails to work with Mario & luigi inside story (U).

Thanks in advance for any help possible to give.

Someone PLEASE HELP ME

When i use the R4 sdhc firmware v. 1.26, and ysmenu, and all i get is a blank screen when i boot up an unpatched rom (via ysmenu)

Ok, i get that the first page is the root, but when i look at the files oin my desktop, do i just drag the files to the sd card? That is where i am confused, have put the files there and when i run the akloader, and try to run a game it just goes back to a symbol of my memory card
