along with the _aio folder. Select your patched ML3 rom and play the game.

5. There you go! I am well past the bowser tutorial battle so far, and nothing has gone wrong. Enjoy. ;D

Note: It is very important that the contents of the Akaio 1.4.1 be in the root of your SD card, otherwise it will not work properly. This same method also works for Kingdom Hearts, taking the manually patched ROM and loading it via Akaio.

Sorry to be such a noob, but can anyone tell me if the new r4i-sdhc kernel v.1.11b works on an r4i-sdhc card WITHOUT the v1.4 "star" on it? It would be greatly appreciated, then I know I can play BIS without problems...

Is there anything for a regular R4 user? I don't have the R4i or R4 ultra or any cloned version of it as far as I know.

i've got r4i ultra. none of this works for it. tried ysmenu, kept getting the dldi problem, but i had the dldi file in there. then with akaio loader i got unsupported device. eff dsi. worst buy ever.

Im still getting a freeze during the opening toad sequence when the large rolling toad hits the wall.
Installed the modded ysmenu
Clean rom
format then reinstall of firmware

none of that works, any ideas?

EDIT: Sorry i forgot to mention its an original R4 with a 1GB Sandisk MicroSD

To all R4 users: You need a FAT32 formated microsd card in order to play MAL:3 through the YSmenu. Be sure to backup your files that are on your microsd card. OR else your going to get frozen menus, errors, or frozen games.

R4 sdhs users who are having problems with the loading screan after turning on the ds whit the kernel( or whatever )1.26 ( fat and litte ) here is one solution i randomly found xD; download kernel 1.25 and 1.26, and the YSMENU posted here before, put all the stuff from 1.25 on the root of the sd, from 1.26 just put the DS_PSTCH.ds file and all the files in YS menu.
launch the game, first use the ds_patch file, then the ys menu and then the clean rom of mario and luigi bla bla..
i was really desesperated because i couldn't´t manage to play this game >_< so i started to do random things and that one worked =O .
i don't know how but it works jeje
btw KH 358/2 days also works like that
and sorry for my English xD

Nothing so far from us EDGE users huh? The cheats.dat file works fine for a while, but from a point and going forward it freezes after 5 minutes of gameplay....
