    hmm? It shouldn't be doing that. Try reformatting and see if it works. Don't forget to backup your games and saves, though.
    And I think this is the only way to get it to work on DSTT.

    Jhon 591, I just wanted to say thanks for your earlier post on getting the R4 patched. I don't know if it was you that also made the patch thing, so thanks to that guy(s) too.

    About 5 hours in and it's working like a charm. :)

    I think I have the clone R4 though, whatever that means. Something like R4 Revolution for NDS.

    I have an edge card and i downloaded this cheat from this website..
    http://cheats.gbatemp.net/
    I downloaded 09_26_09_EDGEcheats.DAT.zip
    I extracted the files and placed it on my edge card in the edge folder
    I turn on my ds and go to the mario and luigi bowsers inside story and enable the cheat for the fix but when i go to play the game it is still stuck on the save/start new game screan.
    What have i done wrong?

    and i put the check test crack on but still not working

    Hey a question...
    I'm using a n5 flashcard which is supposedly a clone of the R4 (not too sure but that's what I am told)

    Which set of steps should I take to patch Mario & Luigi for the n5? Any replies would be ever-so-grateful! =)

    Need help. I've tried all these methods. The best thing I get is Unsupported DLDI name.

    My card looks like this:

    R4
    Upgrade
    Revolution for DS
    (NDSL/NDS)
    WWW.R4I-SDHC.COM

    and the only firmware that will make it work is R4 English V1.09b

    For R4 original users: Don't try to use cheat codes. It will make the game give you a white screen of death at startup.

    when ever i pick a save file the screen turns black and i cant do anything
    i have the latest firmware
    i got a clean rom from this site
    i reformated it

    Are you sure you're using the unofficial DSTT firmware ver1.17a07 from here? :)
