if you have a r4 original and it runs on 1.18 it will work

just download the link to the ysmenu on pg 26
then copy the whole thing to your micro sd
n need to make a new folder

then download the mario game from romulation and put it where the rest of the games you have are.

I hope this works because I have an R4 original but I am receiving an R4i. I keep on getting the same error code as jelloroxsox each time I run MAL: 3 through YSmenu.

i just put the ysmenu stuff ,where it says game,dd.menu.stat etc..
and then i put the mario game in the folder that says game
and it worked for me

if anyone need a tutorial video ill try to make one

I get it everytime i try to boot any game after "C.O.R.E"... I'M SOOO PISSED!

Did you get it when start M&L game? If yes, then you have same problem like me before.
I just backup all games data, then format my micro SD and put it again with R4SDHC firmware 1.26 with YSMenu (from Jason link)....

Turn on NDS, choose YSmenu... and play M&L the unpatched one (128mb), until now it work very well..

i have a R4 SDHC and i dont understand what you guys are saying with the clean roms and on the root of the sd card, could someone help me out and dumb it down for me!!!! hahaha i am having serious trouble!! maybe give me a step by step i know they are on here but some of the terms i dont get!!! HELP!!

By clean rom we mean a rom that hasn't been modified in any way. Just download it from RomUlation.
And by the root of the card, we mean the first space you see when you open your MicroSD card, which would be something like E:/, that would be the root.

And the steps for the fix are pretty much self explanatory
