I am using the R4-sdhc Upgrade that will only work with this software (R4 English V1.09b). I have tried several of these tutorials and can't get it to work. Can someone please post how to get this game to work on my card? Also, of course, i still want to play all of my other games too.

okay i do the 5 steps and when i put the patched MAL bowsers inside story into the game setion of sd, but i cant run it using AKAIO or watever.

PLEASE HELP!

Just make sure that their names are YSMenu1.bmp and YSMenu2.bmp and need to be placed in the TTMenu folder. That's all you need to change.

I have made an important discovery! Follow these steps to play BIS on your DSTT!! (Well...my DSTT's real...it may not work on fake ones. try anyways.)

2. Download "Unofficial DSTT firmware ver1.17a07".

3. Replace your DSTT's firmware with the downloaded firmware.

4. Once the firmware's been replaced, get a clean M&L:BIS rom and put it on your MicroSD.

I can confirm this works on my DSTT. I have made it to the part where you get hammers (about 45 minutes in-game!)
I haven't encountered any problems yet. I have reset, and tried selecting Save and Quit and my file was still there and I was able to continue. Leveled up, got a 1, but it still worked wonders! The game's been running great so far!!

Will post if I encounter anything odd.

Backup you games and stuff

Full format you sd card, Drag and drop all files from zip arcive to your microsd card

Place your games in games nds folder, Boot YSMENU.nds and save, then boot your mario game from ysmenu games nds folder!

It has both kernel versions for choice of game and Moonshell v2.05!

I did everything it said in the post im using the normal r4 im still getting the blank screen after picking a save file is there something i missed?

There are already fixes for the original R4, R4 III and R4 SHDC, check the first post and make sure you are doing what's necessary.

If you do have an original R4, here's an already compiled YSMenu.

Are you sure you have an original R4? By original I mean the very first R4DS team, if you have an R4III or R4 Ultra you gotta try a different method, check the first post, other solutions are there.

WOW I can't believe i didn't think of that method.

Um doesn't Sauto forbid prepacked YSMenu packs going around the web, and if he found some he would stop future updates of YSMenu, which means no more future for the R4. *sad*
