It should work on M3 mini SD since it's an R4 clone.
So is the N5.
So N5, M3, and R4 are all working now. You probably missed a step.

It will, you just need the YSMenu, I'm currently DLDI'ng it and trying to make it work.

I downloaded both and extracted the one that can be extracted. After this I have no clue what to do with the DLDI Patcher. I wish these things explained everything instead of leaving everything in half...

thanks alot zerozangel, it worked perfectly on my original r4
and to everybody saying you have to format your card, you are wrong
i just downloaded his file, extracted it, took every file from inside the ysmenu folder and placed it on the root of my microsd card and it works perfectly
and to those worried about the guy saying that his freezes at the part where you learn special attacks, i am quite a bit passed that (just passed the french block guy that gives you the vacuum ability) with no problems

OK, not very experienced with all this, but here goes:

Downloaded zero's YSMenu, extracted it onto my PC (and to my SD, to save copying the file over) and ended up with a YSMenu folder.
Tried this, DS_Menu couldn't be found.
Emptied the whole folder (NOT including subfolder items, just subfolders) into the root of the card, and it worked (with a menu that looks VERY basic compared to the old R4 one).

Is this right, and do I have to do anything with the subfolders before I attempt playing the ROM?
I would have tried by now but my stupid laptop keeps saying "Invalid MS-DOS function" whenever I try to copy any games over to my SD card. >_<

I have the r4 iii sdhc (yeah i know..crappy clone). I've tried patching, the sdhc and the dstt+ysmenu method. I copied the link given for the latter method and it doesn't work. Also If i delete my old firmware for the iii sdhc, when i boot up the ds i just get a lined screen and doesn't load anything. Any help would be much appreciated.

I did all of that but it still freezes at the file select screen... Did you replace the menu file with the one from ysmenu or keep both? or am i missing something diffrent

i have r4ii so not the exact same but the dstt fix works for mine without the ysmenu (that thing is just waaay too complicated!!) just download the dstt firmware fix delete ur old firmware and add the new stuff (you'll have to take it out of the folders so it's on the root of ur card with the games folder - so u should have 3 files there - games folder(with mario game in it) .dat file and ttmenu folder and it should work - as i say it works on my r4ii and i assume urs is more advanced as it's iii - anyway hope this helps!

I did this, but my ysmenu still sais "No Boot Loader". how do i fix this?
