Try to download the latest cheat database for your R4 on this site (it's a .dat file with a size of aprx. 6mb), you can find it if you search properly, also download the r4cce, (R4 Cheat Code Editor)
Then be sure that your firmware is 1.31b from the original site www.r4ids.com, which is also displayed on your packet of the R4i Gold.
When you've downloaded the Last cheat database for the R4, then first unzip the r4cce, and then unzip the cheat.dat file.
Open the cheat.dat file with r4cce, and look up for Mario And Luigi's Bowser's Inside Story (U)
Uncross and Cross the cheats once again, or look for the right cheat to activate the working of the rom. (I think it said that it only works for Edge and Acekard, but just ignore that.)
After that, save the Cheat.dat file, and replace it with your cheat.dat file on your micro-sd cart.
After that, it worked for me, and i'm 11h in the game right now soo..

[E]: Be sure that you've a clean usa rom of the game. it's 128mb.

 

I dont real know about an N5 card, i heard its a clone of an R4 original

You can always reformat a microSD chip, it mabe worth a try, but i can not say as i don't have one...

I'm using an R4 SDHC Revolution for NDS, just curious, will ANYTHING work to make this game work for me?

This game has been out longer than some other new releases yet the AP is incredible, to a point where almost nobody can make this game work for a flashcard. =3

 

Did all that. Black screen. I'm gonna give up, it's just a one game. Good thing that Zelda & SoulSilver are working.

 

For people with R4, try loading the game in Ysmenu... Works for me

im using a SuperCard DSONE(SDHC) and it just doesn't work

after pressing anything in the main menu screen it gets stuck and i can't do nothing anyone can give help

Could I play this game without using YSmenu, or update my R4 or anything?
My DS is really sensitive. I'm afraid updating it will damaged the system then I can't play my DS..

You need to delete your all your R4 Software Files (Dont delete your game folder file)

You included the ROM in both packages...

 

I can't figure out how to make this work on my R4 SDHC. I have the clone that has firmware v1.32 on it, but I've been playing chrono trigger just fine, and I got Spirit tracks to work. I just can't find a workaround for this game :'(

Can anybody give me some help please?
