There is no fix for R4 yet,at least not most of them.
Some of the clones apparantly work.

 

I downloaded the No$gba and no$zoomer set in the old forum post. It worked fine, until I got up to the first Bowser Vs. boss battle. then it went wacky and my emulator crashed. Anyone got any ideas?

 

desmume-0.9.4 works alright with this game, if you can put up with some of the fanfares for doing things sounding a bit off. I'm well past all the points people complain about at the moment by about two bosses.

I have a CycloDS card and was wondering if anyone could pm me the patched version of the game? I'm running on a mac and can't run .bat. Well there is a way to do it apparently but after trying to figure it out half the morning I quit!

 

All I hear is r4. What about m3 mini sd? Any news on it?

can you save and go back into your game - everytime I save it hangs and then cant get back into it - any help would be welcomed

 

@sdumbleton1: you say you use r4i, but which one? Maybe I have a solution for you:

if you have an r4i which supports firmware v1.4 (if this is not correct, please let me know!) you should be able to play it, or so they say

if you have an r4i card that doesnt support firmware 1.4 (like my r4i-sdhc!) you wont be able to play it

As far as I know, no solutions so far for other r4 cards, sorry...

edge firmware was updated last month...so I think its safe to say some effort is still being made to keep it supported <_<

and as for the person who can't get their game to stop freezing when luigi levels up...I came across something like that, I basically just went around the map a bit, changed some equipment and fought the battle again, this time it didn't freeze

 

@ Foxymona: The CycloDS doesn't need a patched rom or action replay cheat to run it. If you looked at the first post in this topic, or my post on Page 3, you'd find out how to get it working. You need to download the latest Beta Firmware (1.56 Beta 3) and put the "update.evo" file in the root folder of your SD card. Then power up your CycloDS and it should automatically run the Updater. The game runs without any issues or problems.

Probably.... Theres always the eu/au release....

 

They have made patches for just about everything so far, there's probably one in the making for r4.

 

Hay, I give up on waiting for R4 patch, so I played with Japanese version on this game and used GameFaqs walkthrough. I guess my way to half of the game right now. my cart is R4 original with Yasu software, work fine with Japanese version. I don’t want to but a new cart and also the real game, so this my cheap way around to play this game. Hope some make a patch for R4 soon, so you guy can play this game.
