Mario Kart 7 doesn't show players name in 'local player' mode

    Hi, I have 2 x 3DS's running for my boys.

    When I play MK7 in 'local player' mode, so that they can race each other, the consoles see each other but shows their names as 'player' and not the names as entered in settings.

    Is this right or am I missing a trick somewhere? I thought their real names would have shown up?

    Sorted it. Once my boys had created a Mii of themselves, the names showed!
