Most probably nekonolan wants to look like a ass and doesn't want Non-Korean Players to understand Maplestory because ... Nekonolan thinks he/she is superior to other People (including his own race)

Hey Kiekeos, i downloaded one of the pre-patched files. is that the patched ROM? cuz when i start the game, the black screen of death still comes.

patch is working on r4i-sdhc just turn of the soft reset and dma mode..

Did you use a Pre-Made Save?

He/she? You can see a gender sign and also in his PT he says he's a Guy.

I have TTds, you said to name after your rom so MAplestory.ttds? I'm confused =(

Do you have english patch? lol can't wait becuz i can't understand one word. But i could somehow complete missions.

 

I ment renaming like this:
MapleStory(K)-Patched.nds and
MapleStory(K)-Patched.sav
But not maplestory.ttds.

And how to Patch? There is a ReadMe on the first post... And the English translation is also in the first post...

 

i have an r4 .
i have the patched eng rom but i still get the yeti with "data loading failed!"
So what do i need to do now?
btw i have v1.18

I can't find a clean rom... Are the prepatched ones in the first post using the newest translation patch too?

 

You can patch it with the translation also.

Ok, I added a Pre-Patched English + AP ROM. It's at the bottom of the First Post.

 

Yup, I have the same problem. I think I tried almost everything... I used the pre-patched AP rom, the english pre-patched ap rom, and
I tried to get it working with the pre-made sav file, doesn't work either...
I have a R4DS, but i don't think i have YSmenu..

Hope you can help, love to play maplestory...

It is the AP.

You cannot load the game, because it uses a new way of saving, that the R4 doesn't support.

But for R4DS users:

USE WOOD R4!!!!!!!

 

Both of you use Wood R4.

 

Kiekoes, I Patched my game then theres 2 Maplestory Files. One with a '.ND5' at the end and one with '.BAK' which one is the patched one? And I have Both a M3 Real& R4 Neither Work ?

I'm putting the prepatched on my R4i and hoping it works because I don't like my old R4 it freezes lots...


Failing that:
Do I still need the premade save with my R4 if use the new Wood?

EWW the story wasn't translated? I hate that... I could stand the names in Korean or the map, but the story? *sigh*

R4i ver 1.20
Prepatched with eng translation (from front page) and premade save:
-Started new game fine
-Chose character
-did signature
-quicksaved - WSOD (white screen of death)
-turned of and back on
- reloaded quicksave fine
- wandered around, eventually saved at inn
- loaded save fine
^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Working fine prepatched.

 

Use the .NDS File
