The game always freezes for me when ever i pick a file to play on. I'm using an R4-III Upgrade (R4 Clone) with YSMenu. I'm using the pre-patched game file and save file from the first page. Can someone help me ?

I think the prepatch gamefile is just for the saving issue. Theres still another AP, Random Freezing.

The pre-patched is with Elirdream's patch which stops random freezing.
For saving issues you must use a Premade save file

I'm using the prepatched rom on M3DS Real and it freezes after I selected Bazu

And for all you noobs stuck on the puzzle here is the correct order:

붉은 빛은 질서, 붉은 빛은 시간. Bright glow is order, bright glow is time.
시간은 척도, 척도는 세상. Time is a scale, the scale is the world.
세상을 평정하는 것은 여신의 지팡이. World peace is kept by the Goddess' staff
여신의 지팡이는 붉은 빛. The goddess' staff is a bright glow (Already input for you)

How can I make my own pre-patched file? When I start the game with no$, and make the character, the game restarts with an error that says data error. How can I make a SAV file like the one you made?

Comfirmed not working on M3 Sakura latest version. (at time of writing)
It freezes with the patched rom after I click my character.

i have an m3ds real using pre-patched rom and pre made .sav file
game freezes after i pick your warrior and the dude starts talking

Run it in No$GBA and pick the save file created in "No$GBA (or other folder name)/Battery/Maplestory.sav"

Please help me,
I have read through this whole topic and I can only get it to half work.

I have a R4-III Upgrade (clone) and (to play maplestory) am using the wood r4 for clones (Using the .nds file through the 1.18 firmware)(From what I can tell wood r4 for clones is only available as the 1.05 version if that makes any differences)
I have got the pre patched rom and the save file and have made sure they are the right names.
I can get right up to the character selection screen but when I select the warrior it goes to the screen with the yeti.

All help would be greatly appreciated.

We don't know how to fix that. But there is a solution: Buy a proper flashcard like Acekard2i or CycloDS.

Not wanting to get of topic but will both of those work on a DSL?
and for lack of a batter way of putting it, which one is better?

Those both will work on the DSlite. But I think the Acekard2i is a little bit better dan CycloDS.

And I don't want t get stuck with another fake/clone again...
