Thankfully you guys have faster internet speeds than us, so internet TV seems to be your good option. By the way, aside from allaboutsp who hosts South Park episodes, are they other sites that host good television shows &/or full length movies as well?

not really, only the urban areas have faster internet, my connection might as well be UMTS for the speeds we get from it. We used to get 2Mbit, now we're lucky to get 1. In fact, as I am posting this, my dad is rewiring the house telephone system in the hope that it improves our speeds. We'll see what happens when we finish in a couple of weeks.

    Gagamboy = Spiderman Rip
Lastik Man = Mr Fantastic but more of Plastic Man rip because of the name
    Batang X + Super Noypi = Xmen-ish

even the Philippines has retarded rips so it ain't just you

    Not that exactly sla0ers:

1.gagamboy - unlike Spiderman, he hasn't got super strength, agility nor a spider sense. He does have super hearing, innate webbing, which isn't that stable because it turns to goo after sometime.

    2. Gagambino - He hasn't wall crawling abilities, no webbing, no spider sense, but can jump really high, has a venomous bite & has this really big Spider as a pet/ally.

    3. Lastik man - Unlike Mr. Fantastic of Marvel or DC's Plastic man, Lastik man was not of this earth, he was from another Planet (I'm basing this on the original Mars Ravelo comic, not the movie versions). He also can shape his body into anything including vehicles, unlike Mr. Fantastic nor Plasticman.

    4. Batang X - not exactly like X-Men, more like Heroes, but with kids so you can say Teen Titan rip off. But each of the five kids don't exactly have "unique" powers just "normal" powers. The original Kidlat had optic laser beams & X-ray vision, his remake had explosive sonic blasts. The original G.Boy had super strength, now he can turn invisible. The Original 3na who used to turn invisible now has psychic abilities. A-Gel who used to be able to fly now only has super speed & as for control I don't exactly know what he can do except for manifesting a hologram of himself.

And oh yeah if we had heroes copied from other heroes, we have one they copied in one way, Panday (The Blacksmith), his mystic dagger that becomes longer (ugh that sounded naughty) & turns into a sword was copied by the Thundercats' Lion-O & his Sword of Omens.

@Loony it isn't really much money for a tv license, yes your figures are correct but that isn't much unless you are strapped for cash, I earn myself almost £1500 a year and I don't have a proper job (I have a paper round, I wash cars and windows and I do various other jobs that I can get like one-offs) but yes we shouldn't be charged much just for owning a tv since tv's and tax cost alot but look on the bright side V.A.T has gone down ;)
And talking about rip-offs there is a crappy tv show that is a rip-off the High School Musical... o_O

I've always thought the idea of a TV license was rather stupid. I would never get one on my own free will. I pirate House M.D., just because I don't want to schedule my life around those three hour marathons every weeknight, and because I don't want to watch commercials. I can't imagine how much worse it would be if I had to actually pay that much money for the little television I actually watch.

Aah yes... My wheelchaired friend get's 250 pounds a month...
And couldn't you do website design, you seem smart enough...

I can't design shit. I make stuff, not design it, and there's no steady market for web development because of all the idiots with dreamweaver that suddenly think they're web developers. I'm also a hobbyist, I can't code for hours every day; only in short bursts.

    Oh... Sounds tough...
I'm not very imaginative sometimes so I don't know what to advise plus it's probably irritating talking to a kid who thinks he can give job advice...
I don't know what job I want yet, i'm just going to stay on at school, aim for a good university and see where it takes me I guess...

Same score in Ireland, only difference is, BBC and BBC2 have very few ads, which makes paying the tv licence fair enough, RTE and RTE2 on the other hand, have as many ads as any other tv station and the volume increases when the ads come on, it's ridiculous!

That can drive a man insane watching that... No, we haven't got talent... Just nutjobs..

Actually we have got talent, they're just too intelligent to go on a stupid show like that.

yeah...malaysian movie scene is flooded by flagrant copying of US movies...right down to the concept..

i think making movies that are recognizable would make profit for the producer. Nevermind the content, it's all about the money.

even i hate mainstream malaysian movies...they stink. The same actors (from the same race! no chance for other races to become actors!) and lame story.

but lately with films like Sepet and others by Yasmin Ahmad helps revive the quality in Malaysian cinema.

not just a TV set; any device capable of receiving a TV signal. SO if your computer has a TV tuner, you need a license, if you have a VCR or a DVR/PVR you need a license, if you have a freeview box you need a license, if your cellphone can view TV you need a license. If you have a DS/gamegear TV tuner you need a license.

Also the price has gone up, it's now £139.50 and going up by another £3 sometime this year.
