Indeed. I would purchase a Mac only for it's A / V qualities, but how are you suppose to kill dwarfs and humans with a laggy computer
i used to use a mac at my telecommunications job it was ridiculous id much prefer a pc i couldn't deal with the constant switching although i don't like OSX there are things i don't like about window either... maybe we should all stop arguing and use Linux haha..

It's slow because you have a PC with higher specs than the Mac. It's like comparing a Windows 95 computer with a Linux server (or whatever it's called).
Oranni, You can't say Macs suck automatically (But alot of people agree they're bad for business) you have to have support...for your conclusion
I wouldn't doubt Macs ability in an office space, I just don't think they're good for home use (unless you where in the music business or something on the lines off that) . Like I said before, I'm a PC gamer so I have to have a computer that can actually run games
Trust me, you're not missing out on any fun unless, like I've said a million times, you like A/V stuff
Even though i hate Mac's i got to tell you that Mac's are PERFECT With anything to do with media (Not Including games). Mac's are good for what they were originaly created for and since im a underground rapper iv used mac's for Cubase SX3 and Acid Pro. believe me. Macs are good, but only for what they were created for. Now, for Windows PC. they were created for all around use, in other words its does almost everything in a stable balanced way. thats mainly the reson why people profere Windows PC.
Linux, way better than PC or mac, although it's funny, the idea for the original mac os was stolen from Xerox, then Microsoft came along and stole *that* idea! ;D I just look forward to the day when Google makes an os and lifts the curse of incompatible macs and unstable PCs!
