I'm a fan of action rpgs, but I have never played the original Lufia, so I dunno...

Don't bother with Lufia one, as Lufia II is the beginning of the series, plot wise. And Lufia one isn't that fun to play either.

They definitely shouldn't scrap the Capsule Monsters, other wise this remake'll turn shitty

Those Capsule Monsters were THE TRUE ORIGINAL Pokemon by the way for all you un-initiated with the Lufia Universe.

I saw the video & sadly, I don't like this remake now

Maxim looks "Squall-ish", the Action RPG game play aspect doesn't feel right & by the looks of it, Maxim will be the only character you'll control. Very un-Lufia like

I bet they'll scrap the Capsule Monsters too simply based on how the game is shaping up.

And WTH!? are those puzzles they showed!? There's no mine cart run in Lufia!

I think they over did, redoing this game to the point it'll suck for true Lufia fans.

Correction, Capsule Monster fans, not Pokemon fans... that reminds me, Foomy wants to eat a long sword now ;D

It should be okay for those who have never played the originals.
But I loved the original and if they change it too much I'm afraid I won't enjoy it as much

 

I will not think of this game as Lufia :-\, just another ARPG :-X(that's what I'll do...)

RPG's not originated from Japan are called WRPG (Western RPG)

I liked lufia quite alot years ago ... cant wait to play it again. Although i allways thought that the name Lufia was kind of stupid... dunno why

 

i've never played lufia but the action rpg gameplay is loooking promising, if i like it i'll defo go back and have a go at the older titles.

 

This won't work I'm afraid, seeing as this remake will be your first go at the franchise.

Say you liked this remake, I bet when you go back to the original you'll go, "Screw this I like the remake better ".

Then, if you tried the original first then love it, you might get disappointed with how this remake plays considering a lot has been changed.

 

Saying this makes little kittens cry...

 

Anyways, lets test the game when it comes out
