Lufia: Estpolis DS (February 25, 2010)

Looks interesting on the screenshots...
I never played Lufia before.

 

I'll play this game cause:
1-IT'S LUFIA!!! ;D
2-Really liked the new graphics
3-It looks so intense(I'm dying for it now )
4-I really want to play this remake of a classic 8)

 

Wait....

Lufia is (or is it now was) the property of Natsume, the guys who made Harvest Moon & of Taito, so how the hell did Square-Enix got their grubby little hands on the rights to the game?

Plus being a Lufia fan myself, I also disagree with the changes they made to the game play aspect.

 

I don't really know if square enix has the rights fro the game(I just read the info on IGN)
I'll do a deep research.....

 

Yes, I was meaning without too large of a change to any aspect of the game (in this case, gameplay). Taito is mainly owned by Square Enix now.

Actually, thx the fact is an ARPG is that I will replay this game actually.

Lufia II is far from being a short game so far I remember. The new graphics wouldn't motivate me enough to replay the whole game.




PS: I know some people doesn't like it, but I am from the gen of player that its glad that the turn-based RPGs are hitting the dusk.

Not entirely, traditional RPGs will never hit the dust, seeing many like it better than an ARPG, especially if the way an ARPG's dynamics are far too complicated or far too clunky for the overall gameplay to work in favor of the player.

I'm sure hackers will take care of the anti-piracy in a few days.
KH took less than a day.

 

It's because they used hack from japanese version, which was already made by someone else. :

They'll surely try to bypass the security, but it'll take more time than one day...

Well, they can practice on the Japanese version... since it takes forever for Squeenix to localise.

 

This games dosen't looks like the type Square Enix would import to America.....

 

It seems natsume didn't own the game as much as taito did and since taito is now part of square enix,like several other taito games,this series now belongs to square enix.
I don't like the idea of action rpg that much but let's hope the puzzles get improved through the 3d enviroment.
And I think this will get localized since all lufia games did...oh and ap is a must since it's square here
