the patch doesn't work for R4 wood 1.14

it still freezes on when you go back in to the store to by items

 

it dont work on acekard 2i

 

Has anybody tried the manual hex edit? Maybe it's just the patch.

 

I'll hex edit it real fast. Give me a second.

Uhmm... Nevermind. The strings he's giving aren't making any sense... Maybe it's cuz I'm tired :/

The hex edit didn't work for CycloDS using B.4. It still locks randomly.

 

I found that the pre-patched ROM had the second string patched at the wrong address (0x000049F8 instead of 0x00004A18):

0x000049F8 should contain "1E FF 2F E1", and 0x00004A18 should contain "A8 FE FF EA".

Currently testing if it works.

Edit: Trying the new patch (patching 0x00004A18 gets me two white screens).

The fix of his fix goes to retrogamefan.

It works on wood R4 1.14 with the patched rom ;D

 

which one do i dl, i have acekard 2i

 

Either ROM should be good. If anything, having the hex edited and patched ROM makes it so if one goes down, one is still there.

 

Download either the hexed or that Patched v2. Those are the latest and greatest roms.

 

The now-fixed rom can't be undubbed with the patch someone earlier made. Argh
