hmmm, without cheats, i wont even try to play some games... well, i finished all resident evils without cheats, but after finishing it, i play it again but with cheats, i just like to use gatling gun on those damned zombies then shout, dance bitch, dance!!! seriously, when i get stuck, then there is no cheat to bail me out, then i lose the will to play it...
what is this in reference to, is it the ds or in general of any game? when did you started playing games and what console did you own? have you ever owned or played the 8bit console and games?
I get into a slump every now and then, but I never truly lost the will to play, I take a break for a few months and do other things I enjoy then after awhile I pick a game up, I still don't play like I used to when I was in my teens like 10 hours a day now I might play a couple of hours every other day unless I get "sucked" in then it might stretch to four hours. anyway back on topic, maybe for one you haven't found a genre you actually enjoy or it could be just video games are just not your thing and you actually looking for an outlet be it boredom, stress, or just need an escape from the outside world for a moment and the games are just not doing it for you.
well i played that much 2 when i was in my teens but now that im in college its like 5 or 6 hours but im looking 4 a job so when that happens it will probaby 1 or 2
14 and jaded -don't worry - you can always come back to gaming. By romulation standards I'm an old man (36) I've always played games- but I have gone through stages where I'll stop playing regularly- due to work/social commitments - but I find I always resume gaming. Maybe try a pen-paper rpg. You're 14 - there must be so many other things vying for your attention/time - learn an instrument -or like many others have suggested -read some books or comics - check out some old movies or TV shows. Party with friends- check out some all-ages gigs - skate with friends. Your still at the age where you can start a hobby and totally rule at it after just a couple of years. Learning new stuff gets harder the older you get. Make the best of your teenage years. Go forth and party!
i did the same thing...the ps2 was getting old....so i switched to the ds.......then that got old and i am now on the psp!! new experiences if you switch consoles i guess?
