In a topic discussing the longest game ever, cheating defeats the point of length. Pokemon is a fringe exception because the developers don't even give you access to what would normally be legitimate content. Why? Events. There's a big difference between simply hacking yourself an Arceus and hacking every final form to be competition-ready. The first simply grants you access to all the content; the latter defeats the point of playing entirely.

 

hacking an arceus and hacking every other pokemon is the samething.... its hacking.... saying otherwise is hypocritics.

also if you have done everything single thing in pokemon from collecting every pokemon to acing super contest, you already beat it. the game is gotta catch em all, not gotta train em all, in fact the game already end once you collected Platinum Trainer Card.

 

GTA. My brother plays a lot for 3 or 4 months but still impossible to defeat in a short time!

 

WOW, tetris, sims, animal crossing, GTA doing random stunts, warioware, any fighting arcade game in survival mode etc

I've already poured over 100 hours into Borderlands...I think I can probably double that.

 

I agree. Shame I can't be bothered with most of the side quests for the past 18 years and have been skipping important chapters.

 

Tetris, badass game, longest game ever.

If you're into it, you can play for hours just goofing around.

 

Elder scrolls oblivion. I've clocked in somewhere around 220 hours and still haven't done all the missions and side quests, not to mention the DLC expansions. It's a freakin' huge game, so much to see and do!

 

Hmm thats a hard one there are alot of games that never end like scribblenaughts, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorer's of Time/Darkness, Fable/Fable 2 (Even though theres not much to do you can still do jobs get all house's, married ect, MMORPG's they never end, Rune Factory A Fantasy Havrvest Moon (the whole series) and thats about all I can think of but there would be thousands more.
