    No problem. I'm travelling all over the Internet to find requests to be done. Any other forums with a moderate amount of people and a graphics section that is lacking sig makers that you know? My home forum's graphic section is kinda empty and inactive at the moment.

    Sooo, I was playing with GIMP a bit, and I made this

    I have a question - how do I adjust text transparency in GIMP? This program is pretty unfriendly for a newbie like me :p Also, how do I get new fonts? Default ones are boring :(

    btw, I recently realized that I really enjoy playing with graphic programs, I think I'll start training to get better :) , I just don't know what program to choose as my default yet, any sugestions? ???

    edit- another one ;D

    My suggestion on your base program is obviously Photoshop. Anything from CS2 onwards is excellent - I'm using CS4 (which, to be fair, is fairly complex for newbies, especially if you learned on 7/CS1). It has all the tools you'll ever need, some you won't, and the vast majority of sig making resources on the net assume you're using Photoshop for their effects.

    To change your text transparency, drop the opacity of the text layer you're using. For entirely new fonts, check out dafont.com. They'll provide you with zip/rar files which contain .ttf files that are easy to install when you run them.

    As for your sigs, I've seen worse done on GIMP. I'd highly suggest getting Photoshop though, and checking around for tutorials.

    Oh yes, opacity, why didn't I notice it, it seems so obvious now :p
    Thanks for advice, I already had Photoshop some time ago, but I wasn't using it very often :( I'll maybe give it a go again :)

    edit- anoter ::)
