SixAxis controllers are really damn flimsy as well... I imported a launch 60Gb PS3 for Christmas in 2006 and I went through two SixAxis controllers before the Dualshock 3's were released. I'm not rough with the controllers, they're just so seemingly poorly made that they break if you use them for more than a year. £40 for a Dualshock 3 is a bit much, too...

The 360 controllers are just as expensive, and my friend's RB is broken due to too much COD4.

The Wireless Xbox 360's controllers have battery issues, I wouldn't be surprised if that happens with the PS3

nothing wrong with the battery in my controller.

No, I mean that they consume battery power at a very high rate

not something I've noticed with my PS3.

Well for a battery powered remote the 360 consumes batteries in like 24 hours (24 hours of constant play time), I couldn't imagine that the PS3 would consume much less that the 360 one does

I dont play my PS3 a huge amount (mainly because it shares the monitor my computer uses). but I virtually never have to charge it.

The Wireless comes with a charger?

Another problem I see is that modding it is very hard and doesn't yield very good results, but that's not really a problem for Sony

no, it charges from a USB cable.

    That's very efficient :)

A problem with the PS3 is that the games that usually get attention from it aren't too appealing to proper gamers e.g Little Big Planet

Whats a "proper gamer" nowadays anyway... Games like LBP are a great way to escape the monotony of yet another FPS, yet another Zombie survival game and yet another RPG made by Square-Enix... They get the media attention because they're more intresting to cover than say Halo or COD...

there is no proper gamer in the world, only immature gamer. people who decide to stay away from pokemon, little big planet, patapon or any good game that look childish, is an immature gamer.

theres far too many games and they're all virtually the same. they're being milked way too much, just like the fifa series and wrestling games

well i think its pretty hard to make a pokemon game without capturing, collecting pokemon and battling gym leader......there are spin off however, like pokemon ranger and pokemon mystery dungeon.

...but the sequels are the same as the originators...

That's why for once I'm considering NOT buying (or romming) the latest pokemon games...

If they made one simerlar to World Of Warcraft, imagine what can happen...

    Nope it's not gonna happen...

    as for being on topic....

This is the size of the ps3-HUGE!

Controller has a last minute "idea" based on motion senceing

Cost to much to play games/buy/accessories, etc

Not enough classics-ad because of the cost of the blueray, it's not having as many games, cash in or other wise better games, than the ps2

    They removed backwards compatibility :(

And the system cost to much to buy-period

Plus-I got blueray on my laptop-and while I missout of MGS4, I have access to the older ones...as for resi evil 5...I'll wait for the xbox360 to die XD
