Found some stuff. 137 results for a "HP dv7 bronze keyboard".

    Also found a guide. http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Other-Notebook-PC-questions/Need-Help-How-to-Replace-Keyboard-on-hp-dv-7/m-p/180398

Is it possible the ribbon cable, ZIF connector, or the actual keys are damaged?

possible but unlikely. Most likely is the actual PCB for the keyboard.

I can rule out the keys part, checked the area where I spilled and didn't reach that end of the keyboard. The spill mainly happened on the number pad, and the person who spilled it immediately tilted it right and sopped up the spill, so that rules out the ZIF connector, and lowers the chance the ribbon cable is messed up. So, yeah it's probably be the PCB.

I was wondering, does a keyboard replacement (like this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/HP-Pavilion-DV7-DV-7-Series-Bronze-Keyboard-500843-001-/300440349830?cmd=ViewItem&pt=PCA_Mice_Trackballs&hash=item45f3a3ec86#ht_2685wt_978) come with the keyboard PCB?
