(lang. hack) The Japanese Pokémon HG / SS with official USA language

I believe the AP patch was made specifically for the (J) rom, and would be incompatible with other releases. Might be wrong though.

 

i doubt there might be one but i think rykin122 is having a poll on bringing german translation onto the jap rom... the link is on the first post. you should read the thread and see if youre happy with that.. if not well i dont know then lulz

 

Yes it did perfectly.

Its not that it freezes the game comes up as untitled for me

I did that at first then tried with a fresh rom I had on my desktop maybe ill try downloading a new rom and see if that works

 

this is IMPOSSIBLE to do, you can if you are tying to trade with 2 emulators this is also impossbile unless you use pokesav to extract the .pkm files for the pokemon you want to trade then load it into the one you want to trade to

a patch has been released for hg/ss, but it dosent work on all cards! this patch is still the king!

That patch has been updated. I would suggest getting it from the "other" forum.
It works on R4 1.18 with ys menu. 150+ events and no freeze.

something to do with cheat.dat maybe. Just guessing here.

Be forewarned though, this patch doesn't work on all cards. There are always problems with ANY patch. Also, I got a freeze myself after about 100 events. So it's not impossible to freeze, save often.

On another note, this topic is for Rykin122's patch, we should try to keep "other patch" discussion to a minimum.

This was strange. Both with the Suicune and Battle Frontier, at night it didn't work, but it works now. I will test both at night again and report what happened.

that works for YSmenu for teh usa version so i will no longer be needing to use this patch but others might so i encourage you to contnue

it is the 100% AP fix for pokemon HG/SS on all flashcards

the one that uploaded earlier was version 1 which freezes at 70 events
now this v2 has the complete fix meaning no freeze and black screen at all!!!
