Pre-patched 2.0 roms are no longer available, says they were removed, and I can't get the patch working. Still can't believe Nintendo managed to beat our team of hackers ¬_¬

Can you repost the 2.0 pre-patched roms please, i'd be much obliged.

can't remember which one it was. I downloaded it for my R4 clone, works fine. Remember to rename your .sav to match the name of the .nds.

can't get cheats to work on it though.

To all of you still having troubles, follow the pre-patched links natsuu gave. I used the same one on my r4 WITHOUT YsMenu. Currently I finished the first region without any freezes so far, regardless of how long I played. Playing soul silver btw.

if you're talking about using a US save file for the pre-patched ones then yes, all you got to do is name your save file exactly how u name your rom file.

 

Yes you are the only one. Well maybe not. I have an R4 and I haven't had a single problem (never froze, never black screen) I play sometimes for 1-3 hours at a time, never had any problems with 1.5 or 2.0

What makes you so special that you should demand answers. The guy is not getting paid for this, and is 15 years old, he goes to school and does other things in his life. If you can't wait for v3.0 why don't you learn to do it yourself.

Can someone PLEASE re-upload the pre-patched ones on MediaFire? I can use a download manager with it, at least.... New Zealand internet is crap, so MegaUpload loves to time out for me.

 

Does anyone here know how to trade pokemon using no$gba? (is it even possible) I'm done with pokemon gold and i wanted to start a new game with the pre patched silver .

I also found that when you battle "gary" in the Viridian Gym , the character name is Blue but then when you battle with him its Green. Its something Rykin can probably fix to have a perfect english patch!

 

Maybe you applied patch 2.0 on your 1.5 patched rom. I did that too, and it didn't work on my dstt.. Then I tried to apply patch 2.0 on a non-patched rom, and it worked!

 

On this rom, when a pokemon feints at the Battle Frontier, it freezes. When I go to Suicune in Celadon, it freezes. Is there a way to fix this? I do have the firmware.

Suicune works now. Idk why it froze before, but it works now.

 

So...

I have tried this patch out, and it is indeed able to fix the freezing problem (or at least reduce it to one freeze every few hours), but I kinda do not need the translation (I've been playing german pokemon versions since I was little, I'd like to keep it that way), so is there - somewhere on the internet - a version of this patch without the translation?

If so, please direct me to it via an answer or pm (and if you do, feel free to delete my post afterwards, I'd be thankful anyway).

This was the only thing that ever got SoulSilver running on my old R4 (+Ysmenu), which is great, but I still would prefer a patch that fixes the freezes without messing around with the language.
