The difference between CAPS and non-CAPS is the PKmn names. CAPS = BULBASAUR non-CAPS = Bulbasaur.

I downloaded version 2.0 caps ss version, and when I battled the twins on Route 37, this happened:

Twins ???????``///##<random carachters><my trainer name>
would like to battle!

But after I defeated them their names returned to normal when I talked to them. (Tori and Tia)
can someone else please confirm this and tell me what the hell went wrong

I don't know if anyone else reported this before or not, or if it's already been announced as a to-be-worked-on thing, but when I go to Kanto after the whole S.S. thing and I try to open my trainer card before fighting Lt. Surge, the game freezes (black screen), and sometimes even the music jams. I can't say exactly when this starts to happen, since I haven't looked at my trainer card for a while (from about the 7th gym, I think) but anyways, I think it really has something to do with either the star and color change or that the top screen adds your Kanto badges to the mix. And if it matters much, I'm using a DSTT with the latest unofficial firmware.

there are a lot of mistakes with the twins battles.

the twins at dragons den for example.

 

on a side note, HGSS us version is sort of playable on m3 sakura 1.47 system 4.8x. i got my 1st random freeze so far. probably takes slightly more than the usual 24 events thingy for the freeze to kick in since i did enter/exit building 24 times.

 

it's going to increase the more badges you get

 

ahh and i just beat morty and on the way to catch gyarados. bummer. as long as there's v3 to look forward to.

 

I've been playing using No$GBA for more than 2 hours , im now at the elite four. Occasionally the image of the character would become a black square but u can fix that by entering another place or by simply looking at your pokemon's.

I did notice that the twins have crazy random names. Also the status for when the pokemon is asleep or paralysed are in japanese but it doesnt really bother me, everything is pretty much translated.

 

Okay, I'll see what going on. Which cheats are you using?
