Well, first of all I'd suggest you get the 2.0 patch. Either way, there is a file called xDelta GUI.exe, run that. It has a field for the patch and another for the rom. Select the appropriate files and hit "apply patch".

 

what do i type in for the rom?

 

Actually, just click on "Select ROM" and navigate to it.

Just updating my last post. I've just gotten the fourth badge and I have yet to see a single freeze!

 

Hi Rykin just 3 things.
1) I have been playing for about 23 hrs now, and when i was trying to play a battle at the union station the game froze twice.
2) can you patch the game in spanish
3) when is the v 3.0 coming out.

I think that if Rykin could patch the game in spanish would be nice ... But i dont see alot of people wanting this in spanish. Has the spanish rom been released?

 

Come on guys don't complain that you want spanish or german or whatever, he did all this for us and this is amazing, settle with that XP

You can try, but it'll probably break the game. Best to stick to a clean rom.

 

help me guyz.. i already downloaded the new patch but still it didn't work.. i got a warning.. it says "no$gba cartloader". what i did is, i'd patched my current game and then when i finished renaming the filename and i think i did it correctly then what happens is.. a warning appear after loading the rom.

 

I've found that the prepatched version of the rom will work with no$gba, however if you try to patch it yourself (at least with version 2.0) it crashes on loading. Try downloading the prepatched version and let me know if it works. If not I'll see what I can do to help.

 

To everyone requesting a different language for the game. When 3.0 comes out, if we have a translated script (Like the bonus one), another patch will be so easy, so just chill for a while. He will either tell us how to translate it ourselves or do it himself.

 

why would you want your own language like deutsch and spanish... be happy with english i bet its much better too!

 

Okay seriously, that's like saying "be happy with Japanese". Some people don't speak English too well so their language(s) would be helpful.

 

Now you know that your gonna get yelled at by everyone thats NOT english (like myself, but you don't see me complaining). I think that the next more important language is what ever anyone votes for.
