Well that's a minor inconvenience. Maybe it'll get fixed in v3.0.

 

There is no difference in file-name between the 1.5 version and 2.0. (Well, there shouldn't be unless you've been renaming things.)
Since you've renamed something, you may have made a typo somewhere in the save-file's name. Also, the save file usually needs to be "next" to the rom, in case that's the problem.

YEA THERE IS, he changed one of the underscores( "_") into a dash ("-") or vice-versa i forgot. just copypasta the rom name to ur .sav for good measure

 

I'm wondering....is it even possible for him to change the regional language for wifi/local connectivity? I think we're all stuck with Japanese when it comes to online.

 

Nope Ive been renaming to no avail! Did the whole save transfer thing work for you guys? I'm still trying to get any save to work for that matter.

 

Worked fine for me, I also backup all my .sav files onto my computer when I am changing games or anytime I put my SD card into my computer. A good habit to get used to.

 

Is there any difference between ver 2.0 and ver 1.5?

 

Ok somehow my save got corrupted I think, my backup from 5 hours back works PERFECTLY yet my new one is not working at all except for pokesav. Crazy......

 

So why are you using pokesav at all? I don't know much about it, but if you are editing your save files, I think that is a good way to corrupt your save file.

 

I only use pokesav to rename pokemon, I know how cheating corrupts files so I never do it. I dunno what happened though. ;( Well here comes 5 hours of repetitive play.

 

Is the Japanese version pre patched? Or will i have to manually patch? Oh and what is the difference between (Non-caps, HG + SS) and (CAPS, HG+SS)

 

After you are done playing for the day, load your save onto your PC, save it in some backup folder. That way it does mess up in the future, you can just load your old save file. I tend not to "save over" my old save files, but make new ones incase.

I had a problem with Final Fantasy Tactics. My saves every once in awhile just say "corrupt please resave" and it removes my save completely. Sucks the first time it happened, but now I make a hard copy of the save on my PC in case it decides to wig out again.

 

looks like im not the only 1 getting my saved file corrupted but in my case it doesnt matter if its the 1.5 version or the 2.0 version because after i save it gets deleted due to corruption

 

i noticed that the trainers on the way to olivine from ecruteak have romaji names but english names when they are registered in the pokegear. and searching through the pokedex by first letter seems odd.

 

I want to know exactly the same thing man :/

 

Caps and no caps are pokemon names; entering battle,pokedex
Choose the 'People who have slow internet' for manual patch.

Rykin122 can you repair problem wiht Buena password? when you read it in the radio it says: " password is !" nothing else
