i got a 2 blank screen once in the start of the presentation ... on full 2.. but only once ^^ maybe was me..

Is it just me, or are others having trouble running xdeltaGUI, too?
I'm running W7 Pro, and while the program runs, it doesn't actually produce anything. That is, I feed in the .patch files supplied, select the (J)SS rom, and hit the start patch button; but no files are made anywhere.

Ideas, anyone?

 

Are you using beta or full version of 2.0?

Check out this site, you can download all event pkmn in pokesav format, and just load them onto your save

I don't think the version of the patch itself is relevant, unless different versions of xdelta GUI.exe and xdelta.exe were packaged in each one. It's the program that's giving me grief, not the patch itself, if you know what I mean. It runs, it thinks for a bit, but then it doesn't produce anything.
Does xdelta.exe need to be in a subfolder or anything?

Cheat it might be, but the idea is that you use it to get event pokemon, that you can never get again. Useful if you live in a country that will never see a pokemon event. (In particular, event celebi is actually needed to complete the game thouroughly, it unlocks a secret trainer battle.)

 

If you want to get it legally (no cheats etc.) you'll have to wait for a pokemon wifi event in your country.
And try YSmenu if the game continually doesn't work.

all good and all... but i alredy have the pikachu colored pichu ... i searched for a gift and it was given me ... what i want todo is tranfer this pichu over Soul silver for the spiky eared pichu event that happen in the forest where farfech is

 

What I'll say is get a friend with a DS.

 

While I appreciate your attempts to help, I have the pre-patched 2.0 already, and I'm not so inept I can't fix a small problem on my own. It's just that downloading 80mb for each update is a bit inconvenient; I'd rather just download the patcher and patch my own clean roms.

But the program is derping up on me, and so I come to the thread in search of illumination of the problem.
To repeat the problem in case someone who's had the problem and fixed it, reads this, xdelta is working fine, except it doesn't actually produce any roms for me. Windows 7, Professional. Running from desktop. This isn't exactly OMFG URGENT, so don't bust a nut/blood vessel/other over it.

Regardless, this does not stop me from playing pokemon, so if you'll excuse me... I have some memory lane to walk down... and subsequently beat it into submission with my Lugia and Feraligatr.

You are using "xDelta GUI.exe" right? Your posts suggest that you are using the command line version.

Do you have it after you just obtained the 4th gym badge as well?
