Apparently he's done now... I still don't believe in it though. Something that big would definitely be released to the public, but what if.

Well, I'm very glad that this patch keeps getting updated, I'm already quite satisfied with it, very playable. Tried v2 today.

So far I have only encountered two trainers with japanese dialogue or errors in their name. Looking good, keep it up

 

I assume the 2.0 Patch download link has still the names of the pokemon all in CAPS, right?

I don't want to download the whole patched rom since it'll take a while for me. :|

 

Alright , so im using the old ass Supercard SD and this is working fine for me, no freezes an i have been playing for 2 hours and 18 minutes so far. The trainer card has a little japanese in it , and when you catch a pokemon there "type" is in japanese ( When you actually check the pokemon in your team using the menu its in english. I have to thank you for doing this. Im playing the game and enjoying every bit of it !

Also, is all CAPS just for names?

 

It seems that anything not being actual text, and instead an image with japanese text will not be a priority since it would be complicated to replace them (I suppose).

There are only a few cases like this, and not really worth bothering with.

 

Heh, the written Unown messages on the ground in the Ruins of Alph are japanese of well. I don't think those can be translated to english, right?

I managed to make out the word "ningen", which means human.

 

Did someone check and test this?
