will this work with r4 v3.12 with little to no freezing i tried a few others but after the 3rd gym going to the 4th it gets impossible to play

Using a [JPN] ROM with this patch you should get NO freezing on an R4 (what I'm using). I use YSMenu, though.

 

Your best bet is to download it, rename your current .sav to match the new rom, and try it out. (Save a backup of the .sav file) If it doesn't work, there's your answer. I doubt it wouldn't, though. YSMenu is also an option.

It works perfectly on my R4.

 

Why dont you all buy an acekard 2.1 and put on akaio 1.6? solves all issues

i think that from now on you should only upload your patches to romulation and password them accordingly

 

PM the mods back on GBAtemp, he has no permission to repost it, the mods there are tight up the ass and will most likely close the topic

 

just take down the links that are in mediafire ect. and upload prepatched here so they cant get their hands on them. that will teach them to ban you while your working really had to make a patch

 

they would just use those ROMs to create patches.
Nothing but a closed project can prevent this from happening.
best we can do is create a shitstorm over there so mods lock it

The pokedex descriptions are so far the only things still in jap text that i've come accross, and i don't so much care about that ^^

Learn to read.
After extracting in a new folder and put the (j) rom of HG or SS in.
Rename the patch to .patch it will then turn out to be .patch.patch, as in the ending .patch is default.
open xDelta GUI.
Patch it.

 

Um.... i play r4 first edition 1.18 firmware and afer the game loads i can here the sounds but its a black screen can any1help me??
