Yea, I know that stuff man. I don't have the they don't obey problem, so what do the badges have to do with pokemon gaining boosted EXP?

The badges don't have anything to do with the problem, it just fixes the Pokémon if they arn't obeying, and a little extra Exp is so bad, now isn't it? Awnser truly!

 

Well no, it's not that bad I just want my pokemon to level normally on a legit way, so they don't gain boosted EXP if they don't really need to XP
But, from what you said about the pokesav, the CAPS version you'll launch and pokesav changing the names to the orginal CAPS names should fix it, right?

 

Just a question how do you load old saves from older version when new versions come out.

 

You simpely replace the rom, so the rom and the sav files have the exact same name (Except for .sav and .nds, of course).

 

I'm just wondering 122, how do you go about replacing these text files? Just curious ^^

I agree with you completely. I do not think that gbatemp's rules are professional and the mods are way too rude and arrogant.

I just wanted to say thanks to you Rykin122 or whoever you are cause I'm kind of confused by all the names now, sorry >.< I think this was a great solution and the only thing that annoys me a little bit now is that you can't have more than 5 characters in your name without editing by using pokesav.

Also, the only thing that I am worried about is the names of the trainers. When you battle a trainer, their names are in Japanese (romaji) and when you register them in the phonebook, they have got the English names. (Might be confusing to keep track on which trainer is which.) I hope this is noted and will be fixed eventually.

I have got one question though; will you be able to trade/battle between HGSS (U)/(E) and HGSS (J)?.

 

I was wondering about how you were editing it too so I decided to do a little research.

I see how tedious this is now, even with the Getall function. Tile editing doesn't look any easier. I can't see how people actually edit entire roms. Glad you're doing it, lol. Good luck / happy 15th birthday.
