(lang. hack) The Japanese Pokémon HG / SS with official USA language

Yeah, before I checked anything online at all I tested switching save files between HG and SS because I thought my copy of HG was bad at first b/c of the freezing. It works surprisingly well to change the .sav files. And then I used this (J) patch, and it still works perfectly. Also, quick whining about all caps/no caps names people... this is a valiant effort for those working on the patch, and it is super-effective.

I would switch over to HG but I already beat it back when it was all in Japanese =/

so now I'm just waiting for the v2/v3 patches.

 

I'm still playing with the v.10 because it works perfectly and I don't want to toy with it right now ;D I went to the Pokethlon and it worked fine in that version... I'm currently at Blackthorn City, running perfectly may I add! I may download v3.0 once it comes out only because there will be minor fixes and all of the major things are already done ;D Just wondering, is it possible to fix naming your Pokemon in any upcoming patches? (Example: Pikachu is named SPARKY)

 

Yeah, I'll be watching this too. I wish I could actually buy the game or read Japanese. As far as those asking why change the CAPS, Rykin was the one who presented the option in the first place. Er, Rykin122. It ended in a vote on Gbatemp and I only know because he linked to the post here at Romulation.

@DragonQuester, I believe you can try the PokeSav editor. I used it to change my main character's name. It seems like it would be annoying to people who name a lot of pokemon, but personally I only actually care about the names of the six pokemon I choose so I'd only edit that.

Please use all CAPS for Pokemon names. That's the way it's always has been. Looks more legit!

 

If Beta version is test version when will real ver.2.0 come out?

Ahaha! Please guys stop fightin eachother about CAPS and Non-Caps, I'm making 2 seperate version for it so you guys can choose, this Lowercase is ONLY made to know what you guy's are thinking 'bout the LOOK of the Lowercase Pokémon name's, I donnot care of reply's like this:
"I want you to make a version that has UPPERCASE"
because that's coming, only the LOOK LOOK LOOOOOOOOOK cares me!!!!

 

In beta, only the functions (search, weight ect) are translated, desciptions come in v2, tommorow

Yes, I'll get the names right, and I give you the choise to download a "BULBASAUR" and "Bulbasaur" version!
