Lack of Rom Releases... Anyone know why?

    Dumping is actually very easy, especially after you've tried it once. It might take an hour depending on how large the ROM is, but it's mostly time where you just wait.

    But yeah, reason no good ROMs are released = lack of good games released. Can't make a ROM of something that doesn't exist. :)

    I didn't say it was hard, I said it was a pain :D You need equipment, which is why I'm not helping out in the cause (that... and I don't buy many DS games that I haven't tried first anymore).

    The only equipment you really need is the same equipment needed to play games on your DS.

    Slot 1 device and a Slot 2 device like EZFlash 3 in 1. Then a nifty little program you can download from linfoxdomain.

    Insert flashcart
    Run the program
    Insert the Slot 1 Game
    Dumps the image to Slot 2
    Insert flashcart again
    Copies data from Slot 2 to a file on your flashcart.

    actually, it's already out on romU. only it's the euro version so it has a different name. it's under "enchanted folk and the school of wizardry" :-]

    Are these remakes of Gold and Silver? Because those are the only Pokemon games I haven't played. =P.
    But anyway, I guess you're right except for a few games.

    ughh i really want to play that game.. but people said in the comments that it needed to be patched... and i have a mac so i can't find a way to it on it.... :( can anyone give me a link to a patched one? thnks

    i know you said about the whole, buying the game then plugging it in to the other thing, to dump it.

    But, can the dumpers not just 'Rent' the game, because it seems sensible, you can rent games.
    To rent a DS game here. It costs like 5£? for 3 days or something like that.

    Someone reiterate for me?

    You can yes, but if you want to race to get the dump first, chances are you'll have to either buy or have pre-store access.

    I dont think "enchanted folk and the school of wizardry'' is a pokemon game. Or someone posted wrong screenshots here on RomU, which is dont think.

    It did not go anywhere search for number 3563 on the downloads section.

    Edit: Just realised you probably meant the USA version, not out yet as far as I know.
