I've heard good things about the Lincoln Rhyme series by Jeffery Deaver.

I didn't really know about them until recently, when I read about the book, The Burning Wire. I was talking to someone about Arc Flash explosions and a recent electrical explosion in the New Jersey area. They mentioned the book, since in the book the killer uses electricity to create traps to kill people.

    Quoted for Truth!!!

    now in my own opinion..

since you like fantasy, you may like a book series known as warriors... i won't tell you about it, cuz it'll seem boring..but until you finish the first book in the series, you won't know how good it really is! it's a mix of Fantasy/Adventure...i wouldn't say sci-fi though... it can have some suspenseful scenes to, but not many...

And you like cats. I hate cats and i refused to read the book because of the passion i have for cat hate. Thanks for the recomendation though. YOu should read The Sight by David Clemmenes then read Fell

i may love cats...but quite a few DIE in the series...so whether you love or hate them, you should like it...
