I just used the Patch listed in the post i quoted above, and it worked fine on TTDS, my son still has a lot of testing to do, but so far so good )

Does this work for r4 cards?

 

I have an R4i v1.54 and I did the Manual patching instructions and Hex/fixed it. It got passed the load and select difficulty page and passed some movie scripts I thought it was doing just fine until Roxas wakes up and gets out of bed, the screen goes black and the music stays in a freeze mode. Damn what now? Can anyone help?

 

Update to V1.55 r4ultra.com and keep using the patched rom 1.55 was released last week.

hey guys i got R4i GOLD and i tried patching it, i tried pressing A at loading screen, i tried the rom provided in the first page and frankly none of it works...i stil get stuck at the bed scene...and when i try pressing A at loading screen the game jus doesnt run at all...can anyone give me a hand on this one please?

 

you have to hold A WHILE the game is loading from r4i gold use the auto patch for this
it works for me

 

i know its while the game is loading and i used auto patch it doesnt work....i try unpacking it and packing it again..that sorta worked for a while..until day 14 it froze...is there anymore soultions..?

 

After I clicked at the game...
Why does it say, "Unable to read data. Please Turn power OFF and reinsert Game card"

using R4i SDHC v1.55 (AFAIK)

i used the (E) version of the game, got the the start screen ok
got the the difficulty screen fine
chose difficulty, screen went black, so sound, nothing

 

I downloaded it and when I tried to extract it it said the file is either corrupted or not supported.

It was the North American version.

I have the Sandisk 8GB Flash cart.

 

I'm using m3ds real and when i try opening it for the first time it goes to a black screen and says "initializing please do not turn power off or remove the game card." it gets stuck there and i turn it off, that screen never appears again unless i delete the kingdom hearts rom and put it in again. but now i cant save, the save files that are suppose to be empty are corrupted. am i suppose to wait until the initializing screen goes away? i waited for half an hour and its still like that.

It works perfectly fine for mine DSTT after i dl the patch from page1..

Alternative patch
Anandjones' IPS Patch Use LunarIPS to patch. Select the khu.ips file, and then in filetypes, choose 'All files', and select your clean Kingdom Hearts (U).nds. This fix patches the same function of the address value change(below). Another program, cheers to ricky from IRC. -AJ

why can't it work on my cart?(EDGE) i already patched it manually but it won't work. somebody help me...!! i really want to play this game.....

 

i got the no$ gba thing and the game off isohunt.com and emulation-zone.com and the thing says that it cant read it and i have to turn it off and turn it back on nd i tried desume and it gets me to the start screen but the sound is triped out becuz it does repeats itself when i play the game so they say everthing twice in a row. PLEASE someone help i really like these games but im broke to get a ds nd the game itself any help would be much appreciated

 

well did u get the latest OS? it worked on mine and my brother or maybe u typed in the wrong #s wen u hex edited it. i know where to download the patched game

 

This is my first post on these forums, but I am using SuperCard DS ONE(SDHC) OS 3.0 SP8 (2009.05.23)...

I see the title screen and select the mode and then BLACK SCREEN...assuming it doesn't work cuz i waited for 10min on the blank black screen...Any help?
