I have a sullution for the people who have R4 card v1.14 to 1.19 (or maybe higher). Go to: https://www.romulation.org/forum/index.php?topic=23731.0 for instructions! It really works if u follow the instructions. Me and 2 other friends did it and it works perfectly! So I reccomend everybody to do this! It's really easy and goes fast!

Seriously, at least 3 days straight trying it @_@;

I ended up having to reformat my R4 Deluxe; if anyone wants the thing-ies just leave a note or something (cuz I don't remember where I found it XD)
I'm not sure it's 100% working though (games are playable, themes ok, etc)~ When I go to multimedia some weird things appear LOL (I think it's ok, though?)

i have the r4 v1.18 and i used the manual patch and the hex editor and it work really good i haven't played the game i just saw the first movie clip and checked if it was fine.Thank you for ur help!!!; )

 

I used the manual hex edit. It's working but I can't seem to level-up. I know I'm supposed to get a level up tile but I don't get any when I level up. Is anybody experiencing the same problem?

 

My game freezes whenever I use synthesis. Is there any way to fix this?

but after the cut scene, it just has the loading screen. I waited for 10 minutes and it just stays loading. Nothing happens. any idea? im using the original R4 and everything is up to date.

What run do you mean? You can't run it before? Or do you get after the screen of dead?

 

Before when I didn't patch it (or did I? Not sure) it loaded up to the modes then after that,

I'm a real blonde, and tried to get it work myself, but it won't :s
The program starts up, but when i choose the difficulty the screen goes black.
Can anyone help me with verry easy step by step how to get it work?

Don't know if this has happened to anyone else but when I try to patch through hex editor XVI32, and try to open the KH file it says 'Can't allocate enough memory to perform operation'! Does anyone know how I get around this? I have a DSTT if that's important and I've heard that this manual patch works for my card.

24/10/09 - Could somebody please answer my earlier post? I'm just wondering why the hex software does this. Would like to know in case this happens in future with another game.

Faith 82 - there is a download link on the first page telling you where to get a pre-patched rom from. It worked for me, and I am also a DSTT user!
