im playing it on my r4i gold i got to day 26 wen xigbar and roxas first go to agrabah 1st cut scene it freezes plz reply fast plllzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

How did you get it to play to day 26 anyhow? I can't seem to get past day 14, no matter what method I try. Thanks in advance.

 

i have the no$GBA and the patch didnt work

 

A) Do you have the latest firmware (i.e. Kernel)?
B) Go to hex value 010E5DC in the game file. From there, change 0C to 37. If it's already 37, you probably already have the patched version. (HexEdit is a good program that allows you to do this)
C) If you have the soft reset on, turn it off. It tends to screw up with the loading if you have it on iirc. (soft reset is the one that allows you to leave the game by pressing all the buttons at once)

Do you have the latest no$GBA version? The version tested seems to be 2.6.

Sometimes emulators are glitchy in general (due to file corruption, or settings change by the user) - an emulator reinstall is always a good bet in those cases.
Also, how fast is your computer? Were you able to get other DS games to run on no$GBA?

 

I'm using the Acekard 2.1 (using the official firmware) with a DS Lite, and I have tried both the pre-patched and changing the hexcode of my rom to attempt to play this game. However, in both cases the game freezes right after the opening cutscenes, after Roxas gets out of bed on day 7. If anyone could point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated.

guys do not use action replay codes while playing kingdom hearts, cause it freezes

 

I use the r4i with r4 ultra firmware and my brother uses the r4ultra, and it keeps freezing before we even get to play, right after the cutscene where roxas is getting out of the bed thingy in the world that never was

 

Guys try the pre-patched version then (I use the R4)

 

Any reason why Roxas would not level up? I have the patched version, running on an AceKard 2 and in Story Mode. No matter what, Roxas never levels up even though the exp keeps rising.

I am also running AKAIO 1.5. I am gonna try the non-patched version to see if it makes a difference.

Edit: Even with an unpatched game, Roxas will not level up at all. Is this an AceKard problem or a ROM problem?

 

Yeah i manualy edited hex code and it worked ! =D

 

i finished KH 358/2 days on the r4 v1.18 a while ago anyway does anyone know what the red/green button is in the corner of the r4 original is i was just wondering when (10141988) brought it up because i have an r4 and dont know what its for

 

The soft-reset function... When it is green it is on, and vice versa...

for r4 original users try the firmwire 1.23
you can get it from the r4i website it has the official r4 original firmwires on they have started updating them

 

i found a fix for r4i gold all ppl attention if u play the game with 1st page prepatched ver if atleast uve played a day and it freezes put it in u r comkputer download ds buff unpack and then pack it back it will work if it doesnt go to 1st page again play the game without unpacking it hope i helped im on day 75 no problems so far

i cant believe what are you asking you couldnt stand a chance against an old rpg school such as
breath of fire or final fantasy I, II (the old versions of course the new ones are insanely easy) with that thinking men... roxas doesnt level up just by himself you have to equip the level up panel, i surely hope i didnt misunderstand the question and its your card problem, you have to read the tutorials, i already passed the game and it truly completes the series, i recomend playing back when finishing this game at least the first 4 hours of KHII to really feel roxas story (personally i find it pretty sad). My recomendation for YOU is try to read a bit, im sorry cuz im making a big deal of it but i was very mad when i saw your question, and i hope is your card problem that roxas doesnt level up and not you...anyway good luck with this awesome game!

Other future problems you may have with the game are th freezing videos, i encountered this problem once and i just skip it and move on with the game
