Just to clarify, r4i Gold users are stuck, with NO known way to get past the freeze. I'm the one who figured out how to get to day 58 (With some help from chemkin and cocolicous) But my method failed on this day. If you want to see what i was doing to get to there read my post's on page 23. But we are STILL stuck with NO fix on any of these pages. So yeah...

Can't wait till i get my acekard....

Yo, listen up guys.

I have a DSTT, an official one.

I just edited the hex code and it runs perfect. All you flashcart-users, follow those instructions and you'll be playing Kingdom Hearts in no time.

For those getting stuck in Neverland this is what I did to get past it. I got the firmware 1.19 from the OFFICIAL site for the R4DS original from http://www.r4team.com/eng/downloads.htm Copy it into your flashcart. I played through whatever mission had me stuck on that day 174. After I completed it I just erased the 1.19 version and replaced it back to what I had before from here. Version 1.18 http://www.r4ds.cn/index.html
After I did that I never had a problem in Neverland again =]
And to also answer some question about the multiplayer function it DOES work. I've tested it and I had no problems what-so-ever. =]

 

How do you do this??????????????????? gosh i have an acekard and i wasted 196 points on this game just to find it doesnt work!? that pissed me off.
i got a black screen after difficulty too.

Yeah, I'm having the exact same problem as other people, it seems. I have an R4 chip too.
It boots, you select a difficulty and it fades into black screen. And stays that way.

I've tried to get the file from somewhere else, but it doesn't make a difference.

Help?

 

I used this manual hex fix about a week ago and it worked great. I did a timed emblem mission in Agrabah, saved it, and turned it off. The next day, I turned on my ds and booted up Kingdom Hearts and it freezes with white screens. Anybody know what's up?

Nevermind. If you're using the same original r4 card plus the newly released firmware (1.23), make sure the green R button on the game select area is red (let's you go back to r4 game menu if it's green)

I guess KH:358/2 Days rom doesn't work when it's enabled on my r4.

So, I went through this thread and found nothing pertaining to solving my problem. Now granted, some problems were close, but their approaches did not allow me to get past the point that I am right now.

I have a DS Lite, With R4 I.L.S. (site: http://www.r4li.com/ ), running the latest current version of the kernel (1.25).

The game runs fine (or rather ran fine up to now). In fact, I got to day 174 (neverland). Now, I am aware others have mentioned and solved this problem(e.g.: crystalchaosx7 about a day ago), but as of yet, none of those solutions have been related to R4 I.L.S. Most of them comprise going to the official card site and updating/reverting the kernel (and mine is at the latest update).

Anyway, once I beat the last level on that tier ( Halloween Town), it shows a video of

Sora sacrificing himself to save Kairi (from the first game), and then Xion wakes up.

Once the last event in the spoiler happens, the screen gets stuck on that image, but the music continues to play. Pressing keys does nothing. Neither does banging my head on the wall. I beat the level 3 times now just to make sure it wasn't just a rare occurrence.

Does anyone know a way to unfreeze/get past this? Loving the game, and want to continue loving it, but it's hard to love frozen things. Except Ice Cream. I love those.

can anybody get past day 171 it seems to freeze everytime please help!!!
