ive done it but it freezes on day 174 on neverland WTF !

 

Which patch works for Acekard 2i without Akaio ?

 

Clean rom seems to work on the r4i until the beginning of Day 50, after the fisrt Agrabah mission.
Suggestions?

 

I used the hex editor for my R4 DS and it's the english version, but for some reasons the screen goes black and lags on day ten can someone tell me what happened?

 

I have finished the game with no problems using this method for R4 Ultra posted by 1nferno:


1. Download the AKAIO 1.4.1 Proper and R4 Ultra Kernel 1.54 from here : http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?b5kmnymkjkw
2. Delete all the files of your old firmware on your micro sd
3. Copy all the files from AKAIO 1.4.1 Proper and R4 Ultra Kernel 1.54 folder you just download into your micro sd (yes, you mix those two firmwares on your sd)
4. Copy the Kingdom Hearts game into your sd (the patched one with manual hex editor, not the clean one)
5. Insert your micro sd into your ds then turn on your ds
6. the R4 menu will show up but instead choosing your rom, you choose "AKMENU4.NDS"
7. Now the AKAIO menu will appear, then choose your KH game from there.
8. Play the game

Using this method I can play the game perfectly.

What's the good news ? With this method I can also play Mario and Luigi Bowsers Inside.
So I can play both K.H 358/2 and M&L B.I on my r4ultra using this firmware that I upload in mediafire.


It works extremely well.

p.s i use an r4 ultra if you haven't all ready figured that out...

thanks to the people who tried to help me with my search, the patches and stuff don't work on my card, but I managed to get a friend to lend me a different card and the patch worked on that. What I did was get the sav file from the card, changed the names of SAV and ROM to the same thing and loaded them on my M3 card. The game started up and played straight off as if found a save file.

If only sonic olymipics did the same thing

beat the game and was satisfied with the story line and gameplay. i guess i'm just gonna buy the actual game to show my support for a great game and so i can use the multiplayer feature.

Use AKAIO 1.5 if you have an Acekard, there really is no need not to! (And do not patch the rom, same goes for Mario and Luigi).

 

What settings do I use for super card lite firmware 1.85 with hex edited rom? I manually edited the rom.

 

Hey, Me123, nothing happens. It just reads as a new game save. The is no save data present.

Alright. I've done just about every way of patching this that I've found. I've manually patched, I've used three different IPS patches, and downloaded 2 different prepatched ROMs. When it is unpatched, the game freezes after you chose the game's difficulty. Patched, I can see the opening sequence, but once Roxas gets out of bed and the screen fades to black, it freezes. I have an Acekard 2.1 with AKAIO 1.5. Am I just out of luck, or has anyone gotten this to work? Also, when I use the hex editor, my string isn't the same as the ones that I've seen on different screenshots. The icon that is highlighted is still 0C, but its in the middle of the row, not the beginning. Any and all help would be appreciated, even if its just to tell me to RTFM or how much of a noob I am. I've followed all the instructions to the letter.

 

As I've mentioned countless times in this thread (including several posts above), if you have an Acekard use AKAIO 1.5 and do not patch the rom. It works without a patch. As simple as that.

If it doesn't (as it says in your post), then I'd advise reformatting using Panasonic formatter. It does work unpatched on AKAIO, if it doesn't for you then there must be some issue.

/worth noting is the same advice is also on the front page.

If you update the AKAIO loader you can also play Mario/Sonic @ Winter Olympics, that Dragon game, and Mario/Luigi without patches.

 

it froze after slecting dificulty on my dstt

 

i tried this and the loading screen freezes when i try to load any game using the akaio loader! i followed every step but it won't work.
im using an r4i ultra (or revolution)
help please!

 

So i have an r4i. my friend came ova brought his ds and his tt we finished da game together. after we copied the save from the tt to my r4i and i was able to watch theatre mode and in story mode go into holo missions and complete all the missions to unlock sora.
Does anybody want it
