im new to this place, this is actually the first time i logged in and ive been looking at this forum and you guys are great help. Im using a TTDS v1.17 and i used the pre-patched rom, and it works perfectly. It froze at wonderland but i hope its just a one off and wont happen again

 

@ king leo : I use R4 ver 1.18 and it works, with the hex editor thingy, you should try it

 

Confirmed!! R4 works if patched manually! this game ricks!!!!! D

 

How do you patch it manually?

I have an R4 too, I downloaded a patched version but there is this bit in a movie cutscene where it freezes everytime and I can't get past it.

 

hi, I've read through pages and pages of info and I can't find the answer that I want.

I have an M£ Simply card and I can't get the game to play past the difficulty setting can anyone help?

I finished the game yeserday on the r4 original v1.18 with no YSmenu and hex edit and with no freezes at all.

i dont know why it isnt working on other r4 originals it wierd

anyway for anyone thinking about downloading it i would it is probably the best game i have ever played on DS and better then alot of games on the wii, xbox360 and PS3 thats my opinion

 

how can i make it work for my acekard2i with 2gb micro sd ?

 

Works fine on R4 Ultra if you do a manual edit as per the instructions. DO NOT USE PATCH!

 

Well, I got it to work on my NO$GBA that I found on a youtube link.
Also, I downloaded the file and everything, and turned it on, yet, it's in french. Anyway to fix this? Or is it the NO$GBA I have a french version??

 

For all those who say that they have a problem on day 174. Did you manually edit the Hexidecimal Codes or did you get the patch?

I encountered the same problem. It freezes because of the Piracy Check (I hate repeating this so many times). That's why you have to alter a Hexidecimal Code in the Game's Rom to make it work. You may also use an IPS Patch. And by the way, it should be normal for you to get a corrput save file sometime (mine got corrupt at Day 302 out of 359).

 

I got up to day 25 and it got to the part where you and Xion are at the station and you turn, when it froze. I'm also not able to do Mission Mode. Could someone help me?

 

Like I said dude. The patches dosen't fix everything. More often than not, errors will occur. When you alter the Hexidecimal code to bypass the Black Screen, you have changed both the programming and the mold of the game (which may render it unusable). You want a good Rom? Search this topic until you find one called "Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days Xenophobia (U) FIXED Props". That's the one that lets you play most of the game. However, it is not perfect as it will constantly corrupt save data when you get past day 96.

no because the real working soloution THAT LET ME COMPLETE THE GAME is to hold down A when the game is loading from ur flashcart!(like on the black screen for r4i users

 

I'm not using an R4 dude. And the Rom I'm using is probably different. Yes the A thing does work your right. I'm adressing all flash carts in general man. I'm using a Super Card. And Guess what? I can't load corrupt data. Holding does NOT recreate save data that has become corrupt because of game progamming and molding changes. Me123, If you can upload a .sav file to show me you completed the game I would greatly appreciate that.

And to top it off, my game had no problem load. Just the save data was being stupid.

can anyone send me a link to a patched ROM ?? I'm using edge 1.5 and I report the same error ( black screen after choosing difficulty level )

 

I'm using an AceKard 2 ver 2.1 with the European version, and I manually patched it.

I can get through the opening cutscene and to first day (Day 7), but after after the short scene with him getting out of the bed it freezes.

im on day 174 and the game freezes on neverland mission every 40 seconds,i think that the patch didnt fix this game !

 

This game worked perfectly fine when i followed the step-by-step guide. This game is worth the download and any games you might have to delete on your card!

Also, this is the step-by-step guide i used .

How to manually hex edit KH rom:

1: Google and download a program called XVI32. This is the hex editor I used.

2: Open your KH rom.

3: At the top click address, then click goto, then click hexidecimal.

4: Type 010E5DC into the box and click ok.

5: The first block should be highlighted and have 0C in it.

6: At the top click edit, click overwrite string, click hex string, in the bottom box type 37 and click ok.

7: Where it said 0C in the first box it should now say 37.

8: Click file, then click save.

9: Put the file you just saved on your flash cart and enjoy
