Kingdom Hearts 358-2 Days Ackard 2i Akaio 1.5

The IPS patch method works on mine I am using an Acekard 2i on a DS Phat with Akaio 1.5 if it doesen't work on your acekard then press and hold X the moment you see Loading and wait till Loading turns red then take it off and play if should play after words. I noticed that you can't run any games unless you hold X on akaio 1.5. Hope this Helps

Ayceus try the IPS patch very easy if it doesn't work then just download the patched rom

 

I couldn't believed it,but the hex ACTUALLY WORKED!Wohoo thank you!The hex stuffs sounds difficult but in fact it's really easy to use since it's the first time I used that thingy.
I might now enjoy the game now xD...
By the way I used a R4DS 1.18,it works.

um i am running it on no$zoomer and i get lag and i tried every thing plz sum 1 help

Do you mean you used dsbuff on the manually patched rom? if so, what did you do first? unpacking/packing or manually patching it?

 

on my cyclo it roze after dificulty but after it was patched it works great.

 

I have 6 roms of the Kingdom Hearts 358-2 Days game:

-clean rom
-clean rom with auto patch
-clean rom with manual patch
-clean rom with kh patch
-clean rom unpacked then packed
-and the pre-patched rom

And none of these roms work.

I don't think this game is going to work with my R4i.

 

To get past the day 23 freeze use the manual patched rom then pack/unpack it using dsbuff. Thats what I did.

Ayceus: What exactly is happening? White screen of death? Freezing at the difficulty screen?

Thanks. I did the manual patch on my KH rom (for my R4) with the hex editor and now the game is working perfectly!

 

r4i ultra working with dsbuff almost at day 14 will update

 

how do you make it work on a acekardi i try all of your ways but none of them it just go onto a black screen when i choose a difficulty

New problem encountered on the first mission to Agrabah. Once again I just switched back to the other rom (this time the auto patched rom) and it works again. Now i've got both on my card and i just switch the name of the .sav file. Its working so far...

Edit: Now I'm stuck on 58. Both freeze.

 

Fix for r4i ultra this is not my fix all credits to original finder u will need a dsbuffed us version and a clean jap when us freezes change save file to jap and u can play the next mission then change back and keep playing if it freezes again repeat process this works cuz i do it and ive passed day 14

 

I kind of went crazy while changing from one rom to another and accidentally deleted my .sav file. But yeah I did the same thing as you and sure enough, straight after roxas gets out of bed it freezes. I suppose R4i users need to switch from one rom to another in order to play the whole thing. I wish there was something that would fix it all, because if there isn't i'm just going to buy it.

 

Use AKAIO 1,5 and a non patched rom. If you still have problems reformat using Panasonic SD Formatter and reinstall AKAIO 1.5.

Yes, I have to admit it was pretty good. I have a Acekard 2i with AKAIO 1.5 running a clean rom.
